I loved rioting. However, destroying thousands of dollars of city and storefront property around College Park is in no way "peaceful."
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
The "riots" used to take place on the field in the middle of Frat Row - until the riot squad and mounties decided to force everyone off of Frat Row and only Route 1. Brilliant!
Certainly not when I was there from 2003-2007. ACC Championship Riot started right on Route 1 and lead to tens of thousands of dollars in damage along Route 1, IIRC.
Probably a bad decision to send pledges with a burning duke shirt to the middle of drat row right after we won.
Sorry to go off subject, but barricading inside corner stone after that was awesome.

Kid that died was in my grade at my high school. Really a sad story.
lol, I lived in the yellow house next to the jehovah's witness building, there weren't when i lived there two years ago anyway.
when we were looking at houses before we got the one we have now on 38th, some asian lady tried to sell us that one. She told us it used to be a drug house. Wasn't her best move.
Yea just saw he's a CHS alum. Damn.
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
I thought his facebook page said he was from Indiana?
Not everyone goes to high school where they are from
Damn, this is terrible.
True. But he also went to high school and college in Indiana. Pretty unusual to also have a stint at a Maryland HS.
It also says the MD high school. I don't know the guy at all, but probably went to like 9th and 10th grade here, moved to Indiana, went to school there, then moved back. Or flip-flop the high school years.
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
This. I was at every "riot" in 2002, and they were all people milling happily about Route 1, then the cops coming in, firing off the pepper spray, and pissing everyone off.
It was a decent house for parties, the neighbors were students or young and no one was ever at the jehovah building at night. The only time we got in trouble was for leaving solo cups/trash out in the yard the next day.
A drug house? lol she came by the house maybe three times a year, I doubt she would have any idea what was going on inside. For the record, nothing crazy ever happened while I was living there.
We got screwed on the security deposit with her, she took our 3k deposit and charged our house another 3k for bullshit the last tenants did. Learned my lesson tho, I'm taking pictures of every single room and wall the next time I move in somewhere.
Nah he went to my high school for his last two years I think. He is in my senior year book. Also he went UMCP straight out of high school. Where did you see he went to college in Indiana? In my yearbook it says he was going to UMCP and he also is listed as going to Maryland on facebook.
lol. you live in a rental property off metzerott. chances are high your property wasnt always operating lemonade stands and free car washes.
I agree with you on the mental health part, but there are already laws against having an automatic UZI (without a permit). If it was only semi-auto, then it was probably less dangerous than a shotgun.
