I get killing the other mafia if you have a few people left near the end game because you can control the night hits, but cross mafia hits are exactly what the Civs want during the early/middle part. I was as good as dead anyway, but hitting me at night was kind of a waste. They were going to lynch me inevitably, and being in on a mafia lynch would have been good. I guess I see what you guys are saying as far as being afraid of our mafia, but yeah, in groups that small at that juncture in the game, mafia had to be hitting civs.
oh and we didn't know that we were the ones that messed up dxl's investigation. I can't find it in chat history but when my role was read to me i thought i could only alter the cops view when he investigated "Me". Its also why I tried to make myself a little suspicous. I was trying to get JTP to investigate me the night i used my power because i thought it would only work when he looked at me. (Sort of like a 1 night only godfather thing).
you tried healing jtp night 1 too? if we have that information the game is completely changed. Its also different if we see that you gave a note to dxl
I was jtp's personal bodyguard. I didn't send him a note. I submitted an investigation that I had to reveal to someone else on a day of my choosing.
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
I decided since you were automatically protecting JTP that it wasn't quite a night move that would show up because you didn't visit JTP, you just were planted there no matter what, but I could see arguments either way.
HoopheadVII: "Guess you won't say, "Sorry I'm a little off today" anytime again soon; Eaglesception is a bitch"
Would you mind posting all the roles?
yeah since its an auto protection i think what you did was the right call. Thanks for hosting.
David Estes (Gooner) - Walden's protégé, Estes is Carrie's boss and is the Director of the Counterterrorism Center of the CIA. Estes has a great deal of power within the CIA and is unafraid to wield it, even, at times, against colleagues. You function as a jailer for your mafia. You get to jail a player every night that your mafia does not have a hit. That person will not be able to be targeted at night in any form, nor will they be able to make any night moves. This move preempts every other night move in the game.
Abu Nazir (DaDeacs) - Abu Nazir, the main antagonist of Homeland, is presented as both intelligent and ruthless. You are the godfather of Mafia 1. You are undetectable via investigation. If your mafia is able to successfully kill Bill Walden at night while you still live, you will be given a suicide vest to strap onto another player of your choosing the following night in the form of an unblockable vig hit. If you are the hitter, any hits directed at Nicolas Brody will be unsuccessful.
Virgil (Raise) - Arguably the closest thing Carrie has to a true friend on the show, Virgil is also quite adept at spying and surveillance. You function as a bodyguard in this game, but with a different twist. You will automatically protect Carrie at night the entire game. Anyone who targets Carrie, will kill you and the hitter instead.
Furthermore, due to your ability with surveillance, you will be able to uncover the role of one player once at any point the first two nights in the game, but the role will not be revealed directly to you. Instead, provide me the name of the person whose role you want revealed and the name of the player you wish to reveal it to. That person will receive said players role in full at the end of the night.
Carrie (JTP) - Carrie is the protagonist of the show, is an elite counterterrorism agent with the CIA, and functions as the cop in this game. Once a night you will submit to me a name of a player, and you will receive the results in the form of mafia or not mafia. There are certain events or roles which could lead to your results not always being 100% accurate.
redwing/jellis/ryala were CIA Agents.

and it didn't show up for dxl because he elected to drop it off at dxl's door night 2, not night 1
Oh, and thanks for the game Eagles. It was really fun, I think I actually like being a regular civ better than a special/mafia.
Fun game. Thanks Eaglez.
I don't think our mafia did anything wrong besides being wrong and hitting evo. If Eaglez noticed anything glaring other than that then I missed it.
We really just got handcuffed at the end by losing 2 of ours to Mafia hits and having Da never get investigated. Not sure what I would go back and change.
I don't get hitting me because I had gotten some heat from Knight and JTP the last round and was one of the least cleared people left. I especially don't get the hit on 7erps for all the reasons he listed.
I thought Knight actually played fine this game but the trolling and baiting people really is getting old. It makes the game worse for a number of people and it is only entertaining for Knight himself. Hopefully it stops.
Just got of my meeting and i can say i am glad that it finally ended. Thanks for the game eaglez i enjoyed it.
i just wanted to be recruited to a mafia.
Also if anyone cares to pm me or post in here what i can do different to improve my civ game besides play more during work hours i am all ears.
