Sorry for the late start-up, class lasted a little longer than expected.
This is Homeland Mafia. The first two deadlines will be 3pm/445pm. They will proceed normally after that.
There are 2 mafias, each with 3 players, all with powers. Be careful what you reveal about your role. There is 1 independent, who must eliminate all mafia and have 1/0 civs left to win. There is one recruitable player for the mafia. The mafia may not be compromised of people who you necessarily expect AND mafia has been given safe claims in addition to the role listed below.
There are a handful of players with the following vanilla role entitled CIA Agent: "You are a random CIA Agent assigned with the task to hunt down the mafia. You have no powers."
OT lasts 10 minutes. RNG breaks ties. It will be important to check PMs before night, especially since the system doesn't have them showing up again sometimes.
1. terps2001 - Dar Adul, mafia 2, lynched day 7
Dar Adul is only seen briefly in Homeland to this point, but is in charge of a covert wing of the government responsible for operations which are kept off the books. Your ability to operate outside of traditional government channels allows you to stay off the radar. Though you are not a godfather, you do have a role that can wreak havoc with the cop. If you survive through the 3rd night, you may, once at night, reverse the cops investigation. I.E. on night 4, you inform me you want to use your power. If a cop investigates a role which should return "mafia", that night it will return "civ" and vice versa.
2. SLT - Tom Walker, mafia 1, hit night 6
Tom Walker is a former sniper turned terrorist, and one of the main antagonists in season 1. Known for being deadly accurate with his weapons, you, as Tom, will receive a vig hit to use on a night which your mafia does not have a hit. This cannot be used before night 4.
3. UTF - CIA Agent, civ, lynched day 3
4. Titan - Peter Quinn, civ, hit night 1
"I'm a guy who kills bad guys." Quinn is a CIA off the books assassin. Because of your ability to take people out in atypical and covert fashion, you have the ability to kill one person this game, regardless of protection and during the DAY. Do not wait until the last 10 minutes please for such a move because it will take me a min to process it. PM me or let me know in advance if you're planning on using this. It will simply say that a body was discovered in the middle of the round, and the round will proceed.
5. evo - Bill Walden, mafia 2
Bill Walden is the former Director of the CIA and the current Vice President. He has a rather aggressive foreign policy as it relates to perceived terrorists and civilian casualties. You will be able to use your connections to watch action at night to find both domestic and foreign enemies to your cause. You will submit to me one name a night, and I will let you know who, if anyone, they visited that night. If your mafia is able to successfully kill Abu Nazir at night while you are still alive, you will be able to launch a drone strike the following night in the form of an additional vig hit. Any hits made by YOU against Nicolas Brody will fail.
8. DXL - Saul Berenson, civ, lynched day 5
Saul Berenson, or "The Bear" as he hopes not to be called, is Carrie's mentor on the show and often looks out for what is best for her. He regularly warns her against pursuing her feelings towards Brody. You get an investigation a night to try to find and bring down Brody in an attempt to protect the town. Because of your connections you will also survive the first night hit made against you unless it comes from Brody himself.
9. FTN - CIA Agent, civ, hit night 4
10. 7erps - Roya Hammad, mafia 1, hit night 4 by mafia 2
A well respected and connected journalist, Roya Hammad's true loyalties lie with Abu Nazir and his terrorist organization. Because of your access as a journalist, you are able to send a question a night to anyone of your choosing (through me). That person will receive your question via a PM from me, without knowing who it comes from or its validity. You will then receive the answer from said person, who can answer in any manner he or she chooses.
11. shiny - Jess Brody, civ
Nicolas' wife, you are caught in a romantic triangle between your long lost husband, and his best friend. You are encouraged to get naked as often as possible (see: JTP's signup thread post). Other than that, you have no role other than being aware that someone is searching for you at night.
12. Smiley - CIA Agent, civ
13. Knight - Mike Faber, civ, killed night 6
Mike was Brody's best friend in the military. He began to see Nicolas' wife, Jess, after he thought his friend was dead. You receive one search a night for Jess to win her over and be reunited. You are aware that Jess is a civ. If you find her you two can "communicate" / bang, though there will be another side effect of finding her which you will not be privy to knowing.
15. Duff - Nicolas Brody, independent, lynched day 6
Nicolas Brody is many things to many different people - a father, husband, potential political candidate, hero, terrorist, liar, deceiver. At some point he seems to even lose whatever internal compass is guiding him. This uncertainty towards your character and motives will permeate your role. The first three days players will be lynched, as is always the case. The twist is that you will absorb the roles of these dead players. If they do not have powers, then neither will you. If they do have powers, then you too will have those powers for the remainder of the game. Additionally, you will be given two vig hits to use on separate nights during the game. These hits cannot kill family members, Carrie, or Nazir. If you use hits on any of these players, they will be lost and not returned to you. Due to your hatred of Walden, if you use a hit to kill him, you will receive an additional hit. You are afforded the knowledge that mafia 1 is led by Abu Nazir, and mafia 2 is led by Bill Walden. You cannot be killed by the mafia if Walden or Nazir make the hits due to their loyalty to you. You will receive an extra vig hit in anger if Mike/Jess find each other and start banging. Finally, you are afforded the knowledge that Saul is looking for you at night.
19. coastal - "the mole", recruitable, lynched day4
You've been referenced repeatedly on the show but have yet been undiscovered. It seems clear that there is someone within the CIA working against the greater good, but your identity is a mystery. Your allegiance is up for grabs this game. Both mafias will be searching for you. If you are found, you will be added to that mafia for the remainder of the game. If you are never found, you will remain a civ. You cannot hint at your role and must claim to be a generic CIA Agent is you are going to role claim.
20. skins - Dana Brody, civ, lynched day 1
The daughter in the Brody family, Dana has more of a prevalent role in the show than her brother, Chris, but still sucks in an entirely unique way. If you are lynched in this game you will bring a new level of suckitude to the rest of the civilian cause and kill whichever town-aligned family members remain in the game in addition to your death. Feel free to complain about this. Dana would.
21. GAt - Chris Brody, civ, died day 1
The son in the Brody family, Chris seems blissfully unaware of everything surrounding him and is always seemingly going to karate practice. Little does the viewer know that beyond the mongoloid exterior, a killer is being trained & that there's a point to all of this ninja training, as Chris here will be able to use his newfound karate skills as a ninja to Judo Chop someone at night in the form of a vig hit. There are certain players this hit will fail against.
23. gotech - CIA Agent, lynched day 2
24. toogs - Maggie Mathison hit night 2 by mafia 2
Maggie is Carrie's sister and is a psychiatrist who provides drugs for Carrie which helps her manage her bi-polar disorder. Carrie is heavily reliant on this medication to remain even-keeled. You are aware that Carrie is the cop and that if you die, Carrie's source of medication will be cut off, and her mind will become too muddled to receive an investigation the next night.
EVERYONE should have received a PM. If you didn't PM me. If not, game on. Day 1 ends at 3pm. You will not be penalized for missing the first vote.

back to basics
No. This is jtp's doing. He's kept me around for his bizarre HOF resume.
More important than ever in a large game to eliminate the quiet and/or not good players early.
I will also accept skins/gooner/knight/GAT/ryala as acceptable first round lynches.

Shiny feels like a good place to start.
I accept FTN as being a good Day 1 lynch.
JTP and UTF will both post a decent amount and that makes me like them less as day 1 kills.
You've been rejected. You also don't mean that.
I want to know now whose schedule has changed and therefore will limit their activity that way you cannot use that as some BS excuse why you haven't posted a lot when it is questioned later in game.
Speak now or forever get shit.
Stop soft claiming.

Are you asking why? Or what? .... or who? (or when?)
Remember when dxl was good?
I'm giving bonus Sheep points to mafia who out themselves in the thread.
I'd rather eliminate quiet over not good players early.
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
Consider me outed.
FWIW, this vote/reasoning really irks me.
Well I didn't soft-claim anything. Not even close.
