LOL. I am one of the last people who needs such sentiments, but thank you for your effort...
As I said, a reporters dream race...
I like Christie more and more these days.
That would make sense. They both are pretty ambitious and have sought the big chair before, how would it work to get one to bow out? Promises of Ruth Bader Ginsburg's supreme court chair?
Amazing. Substitute gender and that's exactly how I felt about Mittens.
Well there are a lot of factors going in. Both may want to run but both are old and I'm not sure either one of them wants to get into a bloody primary where one of them will basically end their careers in disgrace (and they both really like each other too, which is a factor). Obama will also have some influence, I think, especially on Biden's eventual decision.
I don't know, it just doesn't seem like a situation where both will get in.
I love how he can say that with a straight face after backing Romney. The lack of self awareness in political threads is completely staggering.
The two majority parties are run by power brokers who do not serve the people but rather their connected allies.
Finally, something rouses sohlman to care about the military. Huzzah, sir!
Wait, you want me to prove you're wrong that her concussion/blood clot were fake? Not real sure why the burden of proof is on me there.
With Life Call hooked into the Secret Service, she should be good to go, imo.
I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up!
HGoodman, you rape disabled goats.
Prove me wrong!
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
So, I'm guessing that having a competent chief executive is far down your list of requirements?
I love when tag posts something in his typical "look at how much smarter I am than you" style and what he chooses to post is completely absurd.
Come on, Paul. I thought you were one of the sane ones on this board. Hillary is 10X times better than Biden and with her you also get Bill--making it a no-brainer. What exactly where the lessons Hillary missed at Politics U? Where they more important than the one's Joe skipped about how to not get beaten by Michael Dukakis?

These threads wouldn't be half as entertaining without tag though.
That's true and honestly tag seems like a great guy/terp and is probably very smart. Sometimes tough...wow.
Newsflash, all politicians are full of shit and lying to you. If you back any politician, you're backing a liar.
Well let's look at the evidence.
Biden - two poor runs for POTUS, though only in one did he actually have a shot at the nomination, plagiarism controversy. Good to great debater, great speaker. 36 years in the Senate, has major pieces of legislation with his name on them, took down Bork while chairing judiciary committee, 4 years as one of most effective VPs in history, responsible for Iraq withdrawal, disbursing stimulus funds, gun control task force, negotiated fiscal cliff deal. Biggest negative - Crazy Uncle Joe persona, hard to see as presidential despite qualifications.
Hillary - one horrifically poor run for POTUS, blowing huge frontrunner advantage with management and messaging failures too many to detail, good to great debater, decent speaker. Failed in effort to pass universal healthcare in the 90s, Whitewater/Rose Law Firm shenanigans, 8 good years in the Senate, mostly as backbencher but earned lots of respect from Rs, 4 good years at State with the one real blemish of Benghazi.
That;s the evidence, as evenhandedly as I can put it. I mean, I'd be fine with either in the big chair, but I think Biden is the better bet as the guy a D would want there, based on the evidence. Now I can be persuaded if she could run a much better campaign and leave her micromanagement and vindictiveness at the door, but Biden has done a job as VP and deserves the shot if it's realistic. It may not be. Having Bill around Hill could be a good thing, and could be a bad thing. See '08.
Wait, what?? People think Biden might be the next Democratic nominee??
Remember that ad that Hil did "The Politics of Pile On"?
That was the funniest shit in the history of the Republic.
OH NO, THE DEMOCRATIC MEN ARE BEING MEAN TO ME! THE POLITICS OF PILE ON! SO SO VERY MEAN!
Bitch, you were up by 25 points in every poll! Of COURSE they were mean to you, dipshit!
Much more likely it's Hillary. But if he runs, he'd be formidable (assuming Obama still at good approval at the time). He's the most underestimated person in DC. Expect this "Biden as Obama's dealmaker" meme to continue. It's not by accident.
My favorite part was tag name dropping Merrill.
Sadly, knowing a guy whose name is on a j-school does not make your conspiracy theory any more batshit crazy and lacking in facts.
I eagerly await tag explaining why the US govt was behind 9/11. THE GOVERNMENT LIES ALL THE TIME PROVE ME WRONG TAG SOMETHING SOMETHING I KNOW TYDINGS SOMETHING SOMETHING
Joe Biden RIGHT NOW is older than the oldest person ever elected President. I would guess there is probably a less than 10% chance that Joe Biden is the next President.
And how it worked for GHWBush. Obviously a successful Obama second term is key for him, and that plus Hillary's intentions will be the determining factors.
Look I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it's something people just write off and I'm not so sure about that. He would be 74 in 2016, which is Reagan's age when he won his second term, and I'm not sure the age argument works anyway. I don't think it did with McCain.
Since when has ability or record ever been a criteria for a Dem POTUS nominee? If the unions and miscellaneous radical groups - ie, greens, race pimps, and other wing nuts are guaranteed their payoffs, then the nominee is golden.
