I got an early invite, used for about a week, and haven't touched it since.
I do. Mostly for work as the more active you are, the more it helps your search rankings on google.
After all the controvery over privacy issues with Google, I am afraid of Google +. I try to make sure I sign off everytime I'm doing checking email.
i had it but i blew it up the first time i accidentally +1'd a porn site
I was hoping it would take off, at least for picture sharing, so I could have mom and other relatives on it for that and keep them off fb. But no one really uses it.
stuff like being able +1 everything or facebook social reader reminds me of the videophones in Infinite Jest. how at first they're invented in the late 90's and it's great and everyone loves them but then people realize they can't just chat on the phone while clipping their nails, pooping, being naked, not paying attention, etc. so no one uses them any more.
being able to share stuff on social networking is great, but having EVERYTHING you do on the internet be on social networking is a disaster
had it and never updated it nor did anyone else so I deleted it. It will never be anything close to what people thought.
It'll create it's own niche. Google's not giving up on it just yet.
Are you sure about that?
I created my Facebook account in 2004 and rarely used it until around 2007-2008. I know it's a different age now, social networking is a completely different animal, but Google+ is still very much in its infancy.
Have the account but never use it.
They don't care if you use it. They're content with you volunteering all that sweet sweet demographic data.
what? And how do I turn that off?

It's whatever you volunteered when you started the account (age, gender, location, previous locations, employment, etc) plus anything that you "+1" when you're browsing. They're just happy that you signed up.
Oh I don't think I have ever +1 anything
Google+ surpasses Twitter to take number 2 social network after Facebook
Twitter, while surpassed by Google+ in terms of share of users, had the strongest growth at 40% across 31 monitored markets (which also represent about 90% of the world’s internet users). 21% of the global internet users use Twitter. A whopping 51% use Facebook, which is a large lead over Google+ at 25%. Twitter is tied with YouTube in the third position.
Google+ is the rising star when it comes to global social networking. Twitter, YouTube and Facebook all grew...
This is just registered users, right? (didn't click the link)... I would think as far as ACTIVE users go, there's no way Google+ has more than Twitter. I think a lot of people signed up for Google+ when it was new and stopped using it (like myself). I just never hear anything about G+ so I assumed it was still dying.
That's the way I see it. Just yesterday, I saw that G+ was using some of my battery and thought of removing it. Does anyone actually use it?
Dirty mustachioed hipsters
We use it at work for hangouts, but we have people distributed and bandwidth is nowhere as bad as compared to others.
But for social purposes, no.
Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
I don't know what you mean, but it had the cadence of a joke.
No one being on it aside,
if you've got a website/product/whatever you're trying to sell/get eyeballs on, you need to have a google+ page for it. Having a google+ page dramatically increases your page rank and will really help in SEO
I just embarrassed myself with this post
I really wish people would migrate to g+, but understand why they haven't.
Im ready for aa 5th of vodica to end my feels.
