I'm finishing up Return of the King on TNT.
Literally just did a combination of the last two posts. Now checking out Gold Rush Bering Sea on Discovery.
Moneyball was solid especially being a baseball guy and all.
LOTR:ROTK is the GOAT
I downloaded all of Parenthood and we are making our way through that. Quality show, great cast and very well-written. It might be the only network drama that we watch.
I coach 14U baseball and we had a team dinner at one of the kids' house that the parents put on out in Ashburn, VA. Food was solid (meatballs, sausage/peppers, pizza) but the kicker was the dad has a full bar in his basement with like 12 nice bar stools, mounted, TV, and 2 kegs on tap (Dogfish 90 Min IPA and Guiness). I did not want to leave, but figured getting hammered in front of players and parents did not seem like the best idea.
Came home and watched 50-50 with the fiancee and really brought the mood down. That said, I really liked the movie and was buzzed enough to get emo enough to appreciate the harsh realities of life that this movie continued to feed the audience. Gordon-Levitt is awesome and the fact that Seth Rogan lived this, wrote this, and acted in it was awesome.
I'm studying and literally all of my friends are either working or out with a significant other. Is this what being an adult is like? Because it sucks.
My close group of guy friends went from 0/5 to 3/5 engaged since the beginning of December, so yes, this is what adulthood is I suppose. Or 60% of us are huge suckers.
I think I'm gonna go buy some ice cream.

Just got home. I took a soft tortilla shell and put it on a skillet. Topped it with two pieces of generic American cheese, then generic thin-sliced ham and turkey and topped with another tortilla shell*.
What's the appropriate wine for this delicacy?
*Wife is working tonight, but you knew that already.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
Add chilis and its viognier.
Would cinnamon suffice?
Thinking of watching a movie like Drive, but there are some great choices on cable tonight.
Watching Semi-Pro myself. What can I say, I'm a Renaissance Man.
I really need new friends. My friends are such downers anymore. Life after 25 is tough.
Pic Sigs are for losers.
...have to travel tomorrow for work, so enjoying my home before hotel life starts again
Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
Working all weekend.
I remember when I couldn't settle in to being a loser too early because I could get texts to go out at anytime. Now everyone makes plans days in advance so I know well before the weekend whether I'll be going out or settling in with cable movies.
Bering Sea Gold is awesome, on at 10 on Discovery. Also if you're SUPER bored, go listen to the Terps baseball game at UCLA: http://client.stretchinternet.com/client/ucla.portal#
I don't know what the hell this Fuse channel is, but its showing House Party 2 FTW
You know what's not awesome? Shoulder surgery, my shoulder feels like its on fire right now

What did you have done?
Somebody tell me the story about PatchesnCream dammit.
I had a slap tear. Not sure what else he did because he said it would depend on what he saw during surgery and I didn't speak to him after.
And eff you eam, I can't fap and I can't throw a baseball. Pretty tough life imo
