3rd and 4th best sandwiches remaining in this matchup.
bbq sauce gets the gas face
Cuban. Much more complete sandwich.
slaw is a preference item but for me, a good pulled pork is going to be at least a little spicy and at minimum a lot of zing or tangy, the cole slaw will balance that with sweetness and cream. also, it adds texture with a crunch.
I'm so goddamn torn. This match-ups are tough for me.
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
how the hell did the cuban make it to the 4
I found myself wrestling with the existential "what constitutes a sandwich?" for both of these. Each is basically a delicious slop of meat which happens to be on bread vs. a classic sandwich. For one, I decided to go classic, for the other -- delicious slop of meat. Go figure.
BBQ sauce is entirely optional on pulled pork. Any legit BBQ place serves it without sauce.
oh in that case i vote pulled pork in gravy or some other non bbq sauce marinade...i thought for purposes of this contest pulled pork specifically referred to bbq...whether it be sauce or a dry rub
OH MY GOD NJT AND SLT DISAGREE WITH ME WHATEVER WILL I DO?!?!?!?
It is referring to pulled pork bbq, and with pulled pork bbq, the bbq sauce should be optional.
By "without sauce," I mean without red BBQ sauce.
Why always Boris?

Pic Sigs are for losers.
That's like putting ketchup on steak.
Vinegar-based bbq sauce is where it's at.
Coincidentally, it's the same spicy/vinegar combo as buffalo sauce, but with the heat turned down so you can actually taste the rest of the flavors in your sandwich.
