He say you Brade Runner. Now gimme my noodles. No, four.
I'm a big fan of Jenny Agutter in Logan's Run.
And I like the Costner movies, Waterworld and The Postman, even though most thought they sucked. The Postman by Brin is a good read.
Is Metropolis the sort of thing I would enjoy going to that AFI screening with a live orchestra, or will I enjoy it more on a 50 inch at home
Maybe not the best but Battle Royale is a badass movie. I havent read Hunger games but it sounds similar.
Blood of Heroes-- it may not make the top tier of the list, but you can't beat Rutger Hauer + dystopian team gladiator deathgames.
I can't believe I didn't add that already. What a great movie.
Iron Sky will be awesome! Sarah Palin as president. HA!
Iron Sky Official Theatrical Trailer in glorious full HD! Music composed by Laibach.
Follow The Meat!
Its too bad the movie version of 1984 wasn't very good, because the book is my favorite dystopian story ever.
I don't know what you mean, but it had the cadence of a joke.
i need help with the name of a movie. its from the 80s and its basically all about a guy who is a gladiator and has to fight monsters in a ring. thats all i can remember. go!
Is this it?
Directed by Peter Manoogian. With Paul Satterfield, Hamilton Camp, Claudia Christian, Marc Alaimo. An intergalactic fighting competition between champions of various worlds has traditionally been won by a species much larger and stronger than humans...
yes it is, uv for you sir!
Great trailer for the 1989 cult flick ARENA that pits a human in the world of intergalactic alien monster fighting. Think Rocky meets UFC meets Star Wars.

Man, I can't believe I forgot The Warriors. I quote something in that movie at least once every couple of months.
My students just got me into this series. I finished it in two weeks.
It was a good set of books. The second was my favorite.
No love for Soylent Green? This is one of my favorites. Doesn't have all the glitter and special effects, but very dark, and the premise is....well, creepy. Edward G. Robinson's last film also.
"Warriors! come out and play!"
I always thought Warriors was more an alternative present than dystopian future, however
Has anyone said Running Man yet?
Bam! Marty and that damn sports almanac!
Has A I been mentioned? It's pretty forgettable.
I think AI was mentioned. I've forgotten.
Did I miss Rollerball? (Version 1; never saw the second).
Blade Runner on amc right now, FYI
I haven't seen it in a long time, so I don't really remember how good it was, but did anybody mention Strange Days?
