Looking like JFK fire is not related.

Report: Intelligence official says 2 more explosive devices found at Boston Marathon; being dismantled - @AP

CBS News reports US intelligence indicates no signs of coordinated terrorist effort in BOS Marathon explosions, as of now.
How many are we up to now?
Should be pretty thankful that this person/group wasn't an apparent expert in what they were doing.
Hard to tell because they don't say which ones are which. I would say 4 at the moment, the two that blew and then the two they found before detonation.
wow, first the browns scoop, now this!
I had been thinking, today is April 15, generally not a day that evokes warm feelings about the government/IRS.
Two seperate bombs with two others being dismantled as we speak --- clearly it's a coordinated terrorist attack.
Who the terrorist(s) is/are that has to be determined but this is not rocket science at all.

The second round of explosions may have been aimed at first responders if they were that far apart.
I don't think that includes the one they reportedly detonated in a controlled explosion, so 5.
Maybe we should break this up into a speculation thread and an information thread..

Report on JFK Library incident: library director says was NOT caused by a device; it was confined to mechanical room
Kevin Van Valkenburg @KVanValkenburg 11m
Hearing about the first responders who ran toward the blasts to help makes me believe the best of us will always outweigh the worst of us.
See link for incredible number of these events in mid April
Adolph Hitler's birthday was April 20th for those linking what ifs...
Mid-April marks the anniversaries of several horrendous attacks in recent U.S. history:
If you know anyone who was running, you can look up their time on this website to see if they finished around the explosion. It was 4:09 on the official clock.
Those two things will be literally indistinguishable for the next several hours. That's modern reality.
I don't think a coordinated attack necessarily means it was done by a coordinated terrorist effort. Feels like the work of a single person.
I thought that was unrelated to the JFK library fire?
It's all a little unclear.
It's all the same for the next few hours.
Not necessarily. Whatever the motive, if anyone were planning something similar the start/finish line would be the most crowded area.
pretty much anything remotely suspicious will be reported as another device for the next several hours. If a kitchen fire starts etc.
Andrew C. McCarthy writes on NRO: We have learned two things about the early stages of this kind of horrific event, and they ought to be operative here.First, it is a mistake to get too far out in front of the initial reports, which are almost always wrong in some details — sometimes, in some major . . .
