voting is mafia style so please use stars or bold to vote for ***chowdah*** or tuscan
***NECC*** but that's a weak #1 if you ask me.
Jackie Robinson isn't dirty. This isn't Pack Pride.
Interestingly, clam chowder was no one's number 1 overall, but very highly ranked by all obviously. Pho was the distant number 1 overall, ramen and cc were within a point or two of each other for the second spot. Everything else was far, far behind.
Also no single soup got more than 1 top spot from a seeder.
OH SHIT! WHAT NOW RAISE! YOU FUCKED UP!
Clam chowder is good but how can anyone prefer it to cream of crab. They have some similar qualities except one is a lot tastier. But I suppose this is a debate for a later thread. Just agree on weak number one
***Tuscan*** because screw you.
........that fireball whiskey whispers temptation in my ear
Eh, they are pretty different. Cream of crab is more like lobster bisque imo
Agreed. I have had some NECC that was straight up disgusting. Highly variable. I could never say that about say tomato or cream of crab.
Nonetheless, ***chowdah*** still safely gets out of the first round.
Yeah I think this is how I view it too…I honestly still don’t know the real differences between crab bisque soup and cream of crab
yeah, it's very popular. obvious 1-seed imo, but then again i think chicken noodle should be too so lol @ me.
Phatboy if you had any balls I'd meet you at the AFA Boxing gym and have Coach Weichers put some gloves on us.
I could google this, but I want someone to type it up. What makes it 'New England' vs regular clam chowder?
yup....the smokeyness that the bacon adds in **cc** significantly differentiates it....as do the chunks of potatoes...they are both white and contain a seafood element but as far as taste goes cream of crab and clam chowder arent at all alike
NE is what most people think of as CC. Vs Manhattan, which is the Maryland crab of CC. And then there is some providence shit that no one knows what it is.
no difference, cream of crab definitely qualifies as a bisque.
wiki actually breaks it down well. I want to try some Rhode Island, as it sounds like tomato-free manhattan
