46 years old, never smoked. Have had a cough the last 2 months that I couldn't shake so I assumed it was due to some other health issues in the past (acid reflux, sinus infections, allergies, etc.) My wife made me get an appointment and the doc took chest x-rays 2 weeks ago and showed me the peculiar object on my right lung. Needless to say not a happy camper right now. Waiting to hear back from a lung specialist and having a biopsy to see if it's cancer. I guess if there is a positive is that it's relatively small and found early so.....Unfortunately cancer runs like wildfire thru my mother's side of the family.
Don't post very often but just wanted to say Thanks for all the laughs over the years thru the different Terp Boards. The board feels like family and can't wait to get home to get on the Terp Board.

Hang in there, I hope you get good medical guidance on this.
dang dude, good luck.
Best of luck to you, man.
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it isn't cancer and everything works out for you. Best of luck.
Sucks. Best of luck.
Glad you paid attention to your wife and symptoms and got it checked. Hopefully it isn't serious and if it is let's hope they caught it early. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Damn, didn't like reading that at all. Keep your head up, like you said if it's worst case scenario, at least it's been detected early. Hopefully, it will turn out to be no big deal. Good luck and keep us informed. And post more. If you have to read our drivel the least we can do is return the favor.
Sorry to hear that, hopefully everything works out for the best. Luckily posters on this board have incredibly good luck cheating death, so there's that. Except if you're a mod. DON'T EVER BE A MOD.
Hopefully it's a benign lesion and you can return to peace of mind soon. Keep us updated.
Good luck, lots of positive thoughts going your way. Today's medicine is a great thing.
Lots of positive vibes your way. Good luck, man!
And just keep re-playing the Norm McDonald thread. No chance that doesn't have healing power.
Keep your head up, good luck with everything.
I'm certain it's benign but on the very off chance it is something, life does continue. It sucks for a relatively brief period then you get over it and move on. Look at me. Six years removed for stage 4 cancer and look what I've managed to achieve since. 5 star status.
Seriously though, if you ever want to talk about it, just shoot me a PM.
Not a jack ass. I am a 4 star poster on RCMB - spartanfan48413
Sending good thoughts your way... Praying it's not the big "C" and is easily dealt with.
very sorry to hear. cant imagine how not knowing must be driving you crazy right now. hope you find out soon and put this behind you fast.
Good luck to you.
Best of luck, hopefully it is something benign. Either way you can always come to the suque for moral support and pictures of McKayla Maroney.
hopefully it's something harmless, I'll send out some good vibes. My father recently passed from lung cancer so I hate reading things like this.
It's nothing until it's something. I'm sure you'll be fine. Besides, I think this board wants to hear a lot more from "rear naked choke". Just a hunch.
Sorry to hear that Pat.
Ugh.. sucks to hear this I sincerely hope things work out, and its not the dreaded C word.. keep us apprised.
Hang in there buddy.
Thanks, appreciate it!
