I don't drink soda because it's bad for you yet I regularly drink dangerous amounts of alcohol.
Saying what exactly?
What do you think they were saying?

Most don't make it to 65 so no real effect on Medicare $$$.....but it could solve the SS problems if we gave them bigger cups and bigger portions

I'm open to you finding one for me.

no one in philly eats fast food or drinks tons of soda
the tricky thing here is that to stop obesity they would have to institute a ban on awesome food
Your city's cultural zenith is a ton of meat piled high and smothered with cheese.
get some son
ironically soda was invented here as well
So really it sounds like Philly is solely responsible for the obesity problem in America
you've surely seen pictures of Ben Franklin

a couple of those things, just the name was invented in philly. i'm sure philladelphians were the first people ever to put flavor to ice, or meat between bread...
also, you appear to be taking credit for the entirety of the contributions of the largely rural pennsylvania dutch people.
As a very fat Philly fights obesity in various ways, a campaign in Georgia, the second-biggest state in the nation, pushes the envelope with videos that may risk shaming overweight children. Is this a good thing?
I hear the ridiculous ads against the baltimore soda tax all the time. They try to make it seem like the tax is an added burden and that times are tough already and they shouldn't be taxing groceries, something about making it tough to feed their families. Hey morons, if you don't want to spend more money, stop buying soda for your fat ass kids! Not to mention that the ads are paid for by the soda companies.
The Illadelph doesn't need your fancy-pants statistics.

Yeah! There should also be a tax on the internet and tv. Too much of those two are unhealthy. Im sure none of you would have a problem against that.
They tax my internet and cable.
Im sorry I was too vague, they should tax you per hour of tv and internet time. In fact they should just limit your tv time and internet time like in China. Because too much is un healthy for you.
You hear me Stro? You gotta pick between re runs of the wire or community because watching both is un healthy for you.
You must be new here, I just make pithy comments, I don't use facts and figures.
The above statement is one hundred percent preposterous bullshit.
Maybe you were making a joke at your city's expense...?
It all starts with edumacation.
