RIP Andrew Koenig.
What if I told you....
There was a sorority full of goddamn boners?
That they were fucking weird at sports?
That they were weird shits that did weird shit during the day?
That one hero finally took a stand against it?
"A Rough Fucking Ride" - A 30 for 30 Film. Tuesday at 8pm.
Well, I mean, that’s what it is. I doodoo and then listen to Katy Perry.
So dexter, you've gotta be pretty happy about that.
I've never wanted to know who used a downvote more than the person who used a downvote on the OP of this thread.

"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
"'The Internet is forever,' Fertik said. 'Unfortunately for her, her 'online tattoo' will stick with her for a long, long time -- and it will likely color how peers, future employers, grad school admissions officers, etc., regard her as a person. She's going to have to work very hard to show that she's taken this experience and used it to grow into a more mature, thoughtful, tolerant and compassionate person.'
That, or maybe parlay her infamy into a reality-TV gig."

My kickball team changed their name to the "Cuntpunters" in her honor.

Wow. This is NOT roomy!
Pretty sure if I get to 50 upvotes, I get a subscription to Inside the Shell.
Professional Richmond writer Susan Howson explores how Delta Gamma terrifyingly but correctly executed the 6 habits effective writers.
Is she going to get official credit for the term cunt punt? She can't be the first one to use it, just the first one to popularize it.
The number of people here who seem to have never heard that term is probably the most shocking thing about all this for me.
Yes! Don't get me wrong-- love the girl, love the term, love the her use of the term, but it's nothing new.
I have to admit, it is rather well-written
I have been big on cunt punch for quite some time. Cunt punt is just a better version.
What a bunch of boners.
Delta Gamma has accepted the resignation of one of its members whose email relating to a social event has been widely distributed and publicized through social media and traditional media channels.
The tone and content of the email was highly inappropriate and unacceptable by any standard.
No matter who released it to the public or how it reached such a mass audience, the email content should not reflect on any sorority woman in general or any fraternal organization at large.
This is a regrettable action by a college junior – a personal email that is now on view for a global audience. And as all reasonable people can agree, this is an email that should never have been sent by its author. Period.
This email should not be depicted in any way as standard or routine or tied to any official sorority voice. It is not an official voice or message and should not be construed as such.
For the young woman who wrote it, we can only express our regret and concerns for landing notoriety in this manner.
We now consider this matter closed.
Facebook is a social utility that connects people with friends and others who work, study and live around them. People use Facebook to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, post links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.
lol @ "resignation"
I'll admit that I never heard it, but it doesn't come up that much (LITERALLY) in my business correspondence - and there are many situations in which it would be perfect. Perhaps it's a generational thing. In any case, I'm in love with the alliteration and will be using it from now on, starting with emails to our CEO.
I'm probably being naive but I see this as much less damaging for her future than many other people who became accidentally famous on the internet. The fact that a prospective employer googling her name will bring up millions of hits will probably lead some to automatically reject her. But when you peel back the layers of cunt punting, the letter is just a profane rant against some friends by a college student that she meant to keep private. I think, everything else being even, I'd be much warier of hiring the girl who was on youtube getting hogtied by the cops outside Cornerstone than the cunt punter.
I don't think the letter will get her in trouble but the twitter comments about Mexicans and such will hurt her. I think everyone is forgetting about that.
She has a career potential to be a motivational leader for companies in the dump. Bring her in to prop up the underachievers.
I'm sure we've talked about it earlier in this thread but her email was spot on... if some of these stupid boners are actually cheering for the other team at sporting events then they deserved to get called out. Any student that pulls that shit at sporting events should be ridiculed in the public spotlight.
I think that CNN article overestimates the collective attention span of the internet. These internet sensations can spread quickly, but they're also forgotten quickly. Especially in this case where what she did was really harmless. At some point this will go the way of Antoine Dotson.
Some of the other stuff on her Twitter was probably more head scratching, but again that presumes folks find out about it. We're message board geeks, but I bet if I polled my office 85% of it would have no idea about any of this.
I don't know if she has emerged yet, but I think it would be weird and awkward (no pun intended) if she stayed in seclusion. I'm not saying she should come out all heel about it, but I would just laugh it off if I were her. At the end of the day, it's actually a really funny incident. The more she hides because of it, the more serious she makes it seem.
You realize that she doesn't mean that these girls were going to basketball games and rooting for Duke or something, right? It's intermurals.
If anything, it helps her avoid having a bunch of goddamn boners for bosses
Oh, that's my bad. Makes sense.
Point remains, public ridicule is always high on my list.
I am a goddamn boner and I often get WEIRD and FUCKING AWKWARD. Fortunately I'm fairly normal at sporting events, though.
...So what happened at 80?
