Los Pollos Hermanos would do MUCH better than either of those.
I hope none of you guys ever wear clothes or shoes, because those Guatemalans, El Salvadorans, and Chinese aren't exactly getting the long end of the stick.
"And I try to har-mo-nize with songs the lonesome sparrow sings...
There are no kings inside the Gates of Eden."
I'm preaching on it. It's really not special.
This isn't a political argument with Chik Fil A. They aren't against gay marriage. They are against gays, which takes it to a different place for me.
Breaking Bad reference went over my head, haven't gotten around to watching that series yet.
No. This is jtp's doing. He's kept me around for his bizarre HOF resume.
I'm so sick of this "Chick Fil A gives money to anti gay charities" BS. They are a company with Catholic morals. They give money to catholic organizations. Just because the Catholics are anti-gay doesn't mean the Fellowship of Christian Athletes are going to go out and protest gay marriage.
If you hate the Catholics, that's fine. Just stop posting this BS on my facebook wall. (But I would appreciate less people going to my local Chick Fil A since the line is always crazy long)
I love both the gays and Chick-Fil-A. Usually, I would let my white-guilt, high-horse, holier-than-thou, pretentious moral standard kick in and not support this organization, but dammit, the food has me hooked.
Just donate some money to gay causes.

They could tell me they hate me and my family and my friends and maybe even maryland basketball, I'd say, cool i'm still allowed to buy your tasty food right?
Well maybe Maryland basketball, would be the deal breaker.
So they get a pass for their bigotry because they donate to religious organizations? LOL at morals.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
The FCA isn't an issue obviously. But when corporations are sending money to groups like this, its more than just supporting Christian organizations.
Eagle Forum - leading the pro-family movement since 1972
CFA is most definitely NOT Catholic.
Point taken, but that's a far more complex issue involving international relations, globalization, and a bunch of other big words. CFA is a pretty straightforward case of "I find this person's views abhorrent, therefore I will cease giving his company money."

Would it cancel out if I bought some sandwiches, enjoyed them, but then also enjoyed some sodomy?
I'm asking for a friend.
That's not what I'm saying.
Them donating to religious groups is the basis for people saying they are bigots.
You must be lucky and weren't bombarded with this stupid link by your bleeding heart friends.
So they are saying "OMG, Chick Fil A gave $2 million dollars to anti gay groups" but if you look at the organizations, they are actually Christian organizations which obviously are going to be anti-homosexual since it's part of their religious belief.
So if you want to boycott Chick Fil A because of their religious beliefs, you are as much a bigot as they are for thinking marriage is between a man and a woman.
(fan of the gays and chick fil a)
Oh, shit, we're talking about Chik-fil-a?
I was just skimming and saw that an awful man was saying terrible things and subsequently destroying something that people around here love. I assumed it was an Edsall thread.
Sorry, they are Christians. I'm not really sure the difference.
(Don't tell my grandmother, it would kill her)
In a Venn diagram, Catholics would be a small circle enclosed by a much larger circle labeled Christians, though livewell might not agree.
Cathy is (I think) a southern Baptist.

Wikipedia says you're right. I should have done the Georgia math.
This information makes me want to sew their assholes shut, and keep feeding them their delicious spicy chicken biscuits...and keep feeding them and feeding them...
I agree to an extent, but I think it's more a case of "it's easier for me to give up a certain type of fast food that I eat relatively infrequently and can basically replace than to give up Nike/whatever."
Or you know the fact that the owner said they were anti-gay
You think not spending money at a company because you disagree with their antiquated, hateful religious beliefs (not to mention their CEO saying they're anti-gay) is as bigoted as believing marriage should only be between a man and a woman? I like the Wu-Tang inspired solution Paul has come up with.
He said that today. I was talking about what I saw on facebook a few weeks ago.
Not that it should shock anyone. They've been pretty open about their religious beliefs since they opened.
All this Chik Fil A talk is making me hungry, I wish ours wasn't being renovated right now.
I call next in line.

The McDonald's Southern Chicken Sandwich is about 97% as good, so I don't mind substituting it in.
It just seems weird when I tell myself "Chick-fil-A represents so much that is wrong in the world. Better hit up Mickey D's."
