Welcome to the neighborhood. Just don't drink too much at Blue Agave.

Quite a few retailers listed for the new Canton Crossing development:
Can anyone speak to how good/bad Samos, Mission BBQ, and Jimmy John's are?
The Target opening this fall in Canton at one of the city's largest new retail developments will be joined by a Harris Teeter grocery store and a lineup of tenants including Old Navy, Michaels, Loft, ULTA Beauty and Red Robin Gourmet Burgers.
Jimmy John's- quick subs, like Subway but quicker (and better IMO)
Mission expanding fast (I've never been)
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
jimmy john's is sooooooooo good
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
Samos has awesome gyros...comparable even to God Marathon Deli. For what it's worth, I believe Mission BBQ was rated best in the area in Baltimore Magazine. Having a Target nearby will be awesome. I've been to the Red Robin in Columbia once and thought it was pretty good. I'm with you guys on Jimmy Johns.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Thanks for all the info.
Definitely looking forward to trying Samos and Mission BBQ.
Old navy? Didn't realize it was 1999. Might have to get my performance fleeece out of the closet
Mission isn't bad their brisket is kinda dry tho
Jimmy Johns is great
My biggest problem with Red Robin is its clientele- all families with small children, at least at the Columbia one. That might be solved by the location, who knows. Pretty solid value for a chain though.

Yeah, Old Navy strikes me as a pretty bad idea. That market should be sufficiently covered by Target.
I actually know some women who get cheap workout gear at Old Navy though
Old Navy sells decent(read: plain and boring, but acceptable) clothes for really cheap.
And how do you even have to ask about Jimmy Johns?
old navy clothes are not acceptable for people over the age of 8
i really think the brewer's hill housing market is gonna explode with all of this work. this is probably a great time to buy there.
I'm wearing a polo from Old Navy right now. It looks exactly the same as any other polo minus some logo.
i can tell the difference easily. some people don't care though which is fine.
i hate jimmy johns.
Because I've never had their food.
All those shops reminds me of Towson/Glen Burnie. Suburbia off Boston Ave!! This is going to make such awful traffic...
But pumped for Jimmy Johns and Target!
As for mission BBQ, it's ok. I like their sauces. Great cream of corn, but their brisket is dry.

“Route 1, where everybody meets.” ~Nick Faust #5
Wow this is great to read. A 2nd Samos with hopefully more than 5 tables would be great even though im two blocks from the original. My wife being less than a mile to Target can be dangerous. But I'm sure glad I bought when I did. Now lets fast forward to this being done and construction in my community finishing... add a couple years so I can sell sell sell
Hey, gang. Seriously considering a few apartments in Baltimore, figured I'd check in with Team Bmore for some quick first-thoughts:
Apartment size/roommates not in the equation, Canton or Locust Point?
Canton. Where would you be working though? I'd make that a small factor in my decision but not a major one.
There's a lot more action close to Canton, but if being on one side of the tunnel is a huge deal to you....
I went through the tunnel every day and it wasn't a problem at all. Fed Hill/Locust Point only shortened my commute by about 10 minutes (not a factor personally)
