Ya, I don't think I've really touched MW3 since my daughter was born, but I was thinking about playing this weekend if I can find some time.
No. This is jtp's doing. He's kept me around for his bizarre HOF resume.
Well if you don't have any friends that play it, I understand why you don't buy it. The only fun I have is playing online with RU, naegel, and some other friends online. I hardly touch the campaign modes.

Add me. I'm a pretty solid player on MW3, not the incredible beast I was on the previous games. I'll get the new black ops as well, even if it is the same old shit. CoD are the only games I am good at. I wanted to try BF3 and downloaded the demo but didn't really like it, maybe I'll give it another shot.
From someone who hated the BF3 demo, definitely try it out again. It took me a while to get used to it but the sheer depth of the game became apparent the longer I played it.
Stop buying these shitty games
MW3 is awesome and I played it a bunch this summer. I only play online and I'm good so that might be part of the reason. Play hardcore and you avoid a lot of the awful little kids.
Also infected is addicting as hell.
Since the NCAA Dynasty is on hold... I'm likely in.
Decent breakdown of the BO2 multiplayer trailer...
This quote is particularly interesting, if true.
"What’s most interesting in this section of the trailer is that it seems like players will actually need to switch to the knife in order to be able to use it."
does this come out before or after halo 4 which will eat up all my online hours.
Pic Sigs are for losers.

That latency/ping business has to be music to your ears, BA. Hopefully lag comp isn't nearly as bad as MW3.
I've been back at MW3 the past few days getting warmed up... I'll probably make the change to black ops soon though.
For those looking to try out the new pick 10 create-a-class system early...
Ghost says you cannot be detected by UAVs WHILE MOVING, that's an improvement.
The wildcard slots are interesting. What slots do you think you guys will be giving up? Secondary weapon attachment is one.
I haven't really looked into the game so this is all new to me but it also looks like everything is based on scoring instead of kills. Hardline increases bonus score points instead of decreasing number of kills.
It looks like a great system. MW3 tried doing the Support Strike-package thing and giving "kills" for objective stuff (flag caps, territory caps) for objective players. That was an ok idea that was poorly executed. Dumb shit like stealth bombers ruined it. I never really liked the idea of carrying over a streak from life-to-life. This new system where everything that gives you points goes toward the point streak is much better. Kills, assists, objective stuff; without the carry-over BS. I think this is the ideal system for the original killstreak concept.
Pick 10 system also looks great. Will probably give up secondary weapon all together. Maybe lethal grenade as well. I think that allows for 2 wildcards. Obviously will be a ton of different combos depending on what you're going for.
This really looks like it could be the COD that rejuvenates the franchise. It's the same team that did BO, which was much better than MW3 (and MW2, imo). They are putting a strong emphasis on competitive play in this game (there is even a spectator/commentary system built-in). In doing so, they are getting rid of all the trash that shouldn't have been in the game in first place. Death streaks, panic knifing, last stand of any sort. The emphasis is really on gunplay, which is where the series started and has completely derailed from. I'm pretty pumped about this one.

So if you die your points start over? I'm assuming so.
I have a bit more faith in 3arc, plus i like zombies. will not be getting mw4.
In short, what's up with the wildcard?
