The RBC corridor is for like 30 year olds. If you're young and single the place to live is Dupont/Adams Morgan/U St./Logan Circle. Anyone who tells you otherwise is incorrect.
At the 4th of July party last night, I talked to a guy who grew tired of the Adams Morgan scene. Sold his place and moved to Ballsron and says the scene is so much better.
That said, he is 41.

Pretty much 80% of the social people I know from college have moved to what you call the "RBC Corridor". Most of the young people I know from work too. Times have changed.
This is the first time I've heard of the term "RBC corridor". What the hell is the point of the C? Why isn't it just the RB corridor?
Oh, and the RB(C) corridor sucks. Can't think of any place I'd want to be less than the ballroom on a weekend night, except maybe Somalia.
eamhokie94: Is your name Nazi in pig Latin?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but assuming you went to W&M, it's not surprising that people you went to college with settled in Virginia.
As if there aren't a ton of Maryland grads in NoVA?
wtf is RBC corridor
I'm an OWG with an 18 YO and I probably can't tell the difference btw 23 and 30 any more. ;) Looked sweet to me compared to 15 yrs ago. Probably better to let the youngsters around here answer.
It's a commercial real estate thing
the only reason to live there over DC is cost. The amenities, nightlife, metro access, and just about everything else is better in the main DC neighborhoods. That, and it means you don't have to live in Virginia.

I just think of them all as Orange Line stops.
lol at using the term RBC corridor. that's the douchiest thing i've ever heard. so, suitable for someone that lives there.
Lol at me, I thought RBC referred to the RBC Center and everyone was talking about the Raleigh area for some reason.
I heart these threads.
I am only 21. This is for an internship this summer. I was originally working in Baltimore and that commute was long but not bad because there was no traffic. I am obviously not moving.
I just bought a house in Arlington. I work in takoma park and just dart through the city around 730am every morning and listen to the junks. About 25-30 in the AM and 30-35 most evenings (5-530). Only 11 miles each way but quite a few lights. Anyone who uses the beltway to accomplish this commute is on crack.
Got Back Pain and ready to leave it behind? www.isostrength.com
did you grow up in maryland? living in virginia just gave me a weird feeling.
I just consider all of NoVa to be one big $4.50 bottle of Bud Light.
Yes, mostly Anne Arundel and Howard counties, although a year in Montgomery County and then 4 years in CP and another 4 in Baltimore.
I guess I should clarify that I love Baltimore and Annapolis and would prefer either of those places to nova, but greatly prefer nova to anywhere in Maryland that isnt Annapolis or Baltimore.
As someone that came to UMD from out of state and will likely be living in Arlington when I graduate I think this statement is 100% correct.
There are plenty for some reason, but nowhere near as many as UVA/VT/GMU/etc.
As I skimmed this thread the first thing I thought was Raleigh and Cary but wtf is the B or that it was just something about living by the RBC center as well.
Then they got the order wrong. It's not like RCB sounds any dumber than RBC. And no love for Courthouse and Virginia Square?
RBC-- AdMo-- WTF is wrong with people?
admo i have certainly seen before. RBC? Nah
Also DMV is worse, as is Natitude.
