Oh that reminds me, jdawg I sent my boy to Pioneer today, he passes it every day on his commute. I'm sure he'll love it
Pioneer is already on my list.
Has anyone been inspired by the sandwich tourney to hit up Andy Nelson's yet?
I've been there twice. First time was about 3-4 years ago and it was great. Second time was last year. A group of us went and had the absolute worst service I've ever gotten anywhere. I won't be back.
Bourdain went to The Roost for lake trout and Mo's Seafood with Snoop
"Maryland football: Where everybody gets hurt and the starting left tackle has an existential crisis."
Years ago and wasn't blown away, but I didn't really know dick about bbq then. May try it again but more likely just do my rib hunting around Indian Head.
Probably why the place got sold.
I got your seedy ... people love the baseball crab cake.

Thanks! Said baseball will likely be consumed.
Woodberry is excellent and luckily (:rollseyes) it's also my gf's favorite restaurant so we go there a few times a year.
Agreed on the Govt Mule, it's really great. If you ever go, ask for the waiter Ajon (ae-zhon). We had him the first time I went, and I can honestly say it was the best dining experience I've ever had.
I just embarrassed myself with this post
In my humble opinion--and I love Woodberry because of their aims--I think they are very good at some things and mediocre at others. I stick to flatbreads and oysters, some of the apps. The entrees are not superb imo.
I agree with this. Woodberry is good but not one of the top five places in the city, imo.
I'm looking forward to the opening of Of Love and Regret across the street from Blue Hill next month. It's a brewpub partnership between the chef at Jack's (my favorite affordable place) and Stillwater.
Nice, love Jack's.
I was thinking about trying Woodberry for brunch one of these weekends (I've never been.) Anything I should definitely order?
I don't know their brunch menu, but their flatbreads are legit.
Me too, it sounds like its gonna be amazing
Went to B&O American Brasserie for their spring cocktail menu tasting. Some of you may know this, but they have one of the country's best "bar chefs" in Brendan Dorr. This guy basically has a PHD in alcohol. He's won tons of awards and is also one of the coolest and nicest guys you'd want to meet. One of his award winning drinks, which I had the pleasure of voting for, was served tonight. It's called the Galavanter, and is a mixture of Bulleit Rye, bitters, vermouth, and other shit that just makes it perfect. The drinks are pricey, $9-14, but worth it to have one of the best cocktail experiences of your life. Just ask for Brendan, tell him how you're feeling, and he'll work magic.
Stumbled across this at random today and thought a few of you might get a kick out of this outsider's perspective (especially Jdawg who I found on another food forum...you can run but you can't hide). Pretty old thread but some of the familiars are on there.
Lol...im not the only one on there [couch]
There's a great Mexican place in the White Marsh Mall foodcourt of all places. I've had the beef tongue tacos and a lamb torta (forget the name) and both were excellent.
That's R&R's second location.
Mexican food, tacos, enchiladas in Elkridge Maryland
Went there for the first time Sunday and I loved it. I had never had anything cooked sous-vide before.
The grilled smore dessert was incredible.
Nice, glad you enjoyed.
Has this opened yet? Anyone been?
Also, any reviews on the heavy seas joint?
It apparently opens tomorrow. Although the pictures I scanned through from some sort of soft opening looked good
