Give me the heat any day!

"Academics is important, because without them....you aren't allowed to play!"
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
I just took the dog for a walk and it's already nasty. Except for maybe jumping in the pool, I'm staying inside today.
classlessthug: I have too much on my plate to worry about the fact that my junk intimidates some needle D undergrad.
Spending the day at a baseball tournament today should be fun. The tournament is appropriately named the "High Heat" Tournament.
This is pretty bad. I know people who are gong to an outdoor wedding today. LOL at them.
There is nothing wrong with this weather. Nothing.
This is the worst possible weather for me. Period. The end.
Anybody who says they like this weather is full of shit.
Just got back from the Nats game. had great seats on the first base line... And couldnt sit in them because the sun was melting me (lasted maybe 2 innings). Luckily there enough shaded places to watch from.
It is the business walk of the biggest, baddest bear in the national park happening upon an abandoned picnic.
I like it. It keeps the fatties inside, complaining and snacking, And there ain't nothing wrong with that,
See you on the first tee tomorrow, 8 AM sharp
If by fatties, you mean sane people then yes.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Keep telling yourself that as you avoid all full-length mirrors.
I actually thought Wednesday afternoon was worse. Played golf at noon today and it was hot but bearable. There was a little bit of a breeze (not a cool breeze but it helped) most of the afternoon. Plus, we nearly had the course to ourselves which was nice.
my house has no central air....of course i have window units...but theres multiple houses on my street who have no air at all.....they sit out in baby pools all day and night
Surely you're not implying that only fat people don't like 105 degree temperatures? No one could honestly think that, right?
pretty sure the human race north of the equator hates this heat regardless of weight....animals arent fond of it either and thats the litmus test for me....if animals are in trouble without water then its probably BIG weather trouble for humans and quite unenjoyable
Can't watch the final round of the Greenbriar because of the massive severe weather alert caused by the heat. Fuck the heat
CBS's weatherman here in Raleigh tweeted that we just hit 106 at the airport, setting an all-time record high after tying it twice at 105 last weekend.
F this weather. I think I'm at the point where I would honestly fight anyone from south of Minnesota claiming that this is better than cold.
Golf ball sized hail is cool though, right?
It was 105 on the course yesterday and I had no problems. Ice in the cooler and a cold washcloth for my neck to cool me off from time to time, plus plenty of drinking water.
On the flip side, I don't like to play golf if it's under 40 degrees or so (45-50 if it's windy), and they close the courses if it freezes. So I'll take the hot weather thanks.
I agree with all of this post if you add "when it comes to golf" at the end; unless golf is all you do. I played Thursday and Friday and it was hot as hell, but I was in a situation where I didn't care how hot/sweaty/gross I got. The frustrating thing is when I feel the same way from walking outside for more than 2 minutes...
also, fuck the people who wear jeans in the heat... I don't care if it's a medical condition, it's being an attention whore.
So awesome scraping the frost off my car this morning. Can't wait to wear gloves, scarves and hats!!
I LOOOVEEEEEE wearing a scarf.
Edit to remove "rocking" and replace with "wearing," per being an adult

I've grown to love all the various types of jackets I can wear during the winter. Next step is definitely scarves and stylish hats (although wearing awesome Orioles beanie with a peacoat would be an amazing look)
