Yeah, you suck. Big time.
I was on 2/3 mafia Day 2...I would say my reads were pretty good. Also don't take that post so literally..of course I wasn't trying to clear myself from all banter. It wasn't meant to be taken 100% serious. That runnup on me was just really bad play all around and was given credence by the two arguably best players in the game who happened to be mafia.
Secondly I firmly believe that under no circumstance should of have came out last night and if I am ever in this situation again I will not come out. If I can out I was instantly useless so I should of tried to delay that for as long as possible. As a player in the game it is gooner's responsibility to know the vote count and act accordingly. I really don't see any situation in the first round or two where a majority should occur, especially one when no one else is around at 4am. I should of had the entire morning to argue my case and attempt to dissuade people from voting for me and keep myself secret and useful as a special. Just as you don't vote someone off that is not around to claim, you don't majo someone either when they could easily have the chance to claim by playing out the rest of the round.
You were going to have to claim at some point. As I said in dead chat, you read as special or mafia all round long. It was touchy to claim last night, but no one expected early an early morning goon-jority.
It's unfair to say "I was on 2/3 mafia Day 2." People make wild accusations all the time. Most civs basically are "on" all the mafia at some point in the game. If you don't help get them lynched, you weren't really "on" them.
You weren't useless by coming out either because you force mafia to kill you there rather than take a extra hit at the cop. Therefore, you give the cop one more night protection.
"It's just so hard," Greivis said. "It's my heart, my love. Maryland made me who I am."
I called you out Day 1 and Day 2 as mafia and was quite positive in that and if you ended up being lynched over me then I think it would have been pretty clearing. I would have helped gotten you lynched if I was still alive and not unexpectedly majoed in the middle of the night. To be fair, I think it was too early to comment either way and I was simply defending myself against what I feel are inaccurate things.
Also that is completely true and I was planning on coming out in the morning which would have afforded the civs that opportunity. However, gooner made the mistake of not knowing the vote count and lynching me before I could. That being said I made the mistake of assuming that people pay attention to the vote count at all times and realize killing someone when they can't disclose important information is a bad idea.
I was on 2/3 mafia on day 1 is something I expect to hear from utf or romanov to justify their play, not you.
And I don't think you should have claimed. That was not part of why I thought your play was bad.
Well... were you trying to draw a hit with all that talk? That's really why we hit you. All that talk made us (me) think you actually were a special. Should have followed raise and just hit utf.
Drawing a hit did cross my mind as I posted it but I was still very surprised to be hit that night.
Also raise admitted he lied about me begin dead. UTF you also thought I was still in the game. That was just a UTF oversight right?
So did you guys come to a consensus yet on if we are allowed to ask "ANYONE GOT A VOTE COUNT?"
Cause some of you are more apt at knowing the vote count (you goddamn spreadsheet trackers), while other morons like me have hardly any idea most of the time. This is troubling considering what happened to TF22 and I could see myself doing something stupid like what Gooner did. Although, I think I would at least try to have some idea before voting.
"anyone got a vote count" is not the same issue as correcting the mod in thread, on which there is no consensus.
"anyone got a vote count" is something a redneck would say.
Asking for a vote count is lame, do one yourself. Obviously if the mod is around they will post counts regularly.
There is hope for you yet.
OH SHIT! WHAT NOW RAISE! YOU FUCKED UP!
Yeah I wouldn't necessarily phrase it exactly like that, but the problem some of us run into (at least I do) is that you get busy all of a sudden and then you start getting really nervous and scared and then you know the deadline is coming and you don't want to take all your time trying to track the fucking vote count when you should be trying to read as much as you can while time is dwindling down.
I'm so scared of fucking up!
This guy is my new number 1 draft pick if I'm mafia captain
Lack of vote counts at the deadline is at worst and occasional problem when the mod is away and no one steps up. Each player is on their own in that circumstance.
That is not at all related to what happened to 22
Not being able to correct a vote count in thread/point out it's wrong is beyond dumb.

Why was I role-blocked instead of other candidates? What did I do?
I claimed early because I thought FTN would get majo'd and I'd be sure to get killed that night with no protection. I didn't even consider that I'd be kept around and role-blocked. I thought that was the cleanest way to keep the game legit.
So to all of you who gave me shit for the early claim; there was a reason for it.

Mainly based on raise's early intuition. We were almost ready to block GAT. But we basically decided jman and GAT had no chance to be the cop because the night moves went through relatively early after the morning majority.
So it was down to kill/rb 2 of you, smiley, gooner.
Gooner seemed like a longshot to be cop with the way he was playing so it was the other two.
If I didn't already have a perfect signature.........
Thanks. I was so sure I'd get one more investigation after hammering Rommy. Good call.
That is forgivable, especially based on the extra info you received.
Majo'ing romanov when there was a good shot that I was going to get run up will never make sense. Two other people (at least) suggested running me up int he thread (you had even said i was a civ lean), so allowing that to happen, or even voting for me at some point would not have thrown up any red flags or given you away.
No, I was playing the fool. I was trying to get mafia to think UTF wasn't paying attention and would be perfect to keep until the end game. It also gave me the chance to say I thought that Raise was a civ-lean in case he was dirty.
