On this day 12 years ago, the WCW sadly died. I can't believe its been that long. It doesn't seem that long ago. I have so many fond memories of that era. Everything about the WCW at its peak was great. My favorite moment has to be this one. The commentary sold it really well
July 7,1996 Bash at the Beach The nWo was born
WCW didn't have shit on the WWF and you know it. aside from the great stone cold steve austin the WWF also had the greatest ice cream bar in the history of the world
True. The ice cream trucks also had WWF ice creams, I don't recall them ever having a WCW brand Ice cream.
WCW had the best wrestling video game ever made in WCW/NWO Revenge
The lucha matches were the best.
I don't know what you mean, but it had the cadence of a joke.
I'm one of the few who liked Wrestlemania 2000 better than No Mercy. Way better story/career mode.
WCW also had the worst video game: WCW Thunder. Did anyone have that game beside me? It's no surprise that it played like a 2nd rate game just like how WCW Thunder was a 2nd rate show in real life.
Had it. Soooo bad
Loved the WCW.
I think I blocked Thunder out of my mind. I'm sure we had it. A lot of time spent playing Revenge. What a great game.
This game was way worse than Thunder
Original Smackdown? Anyone?
is that wwf attitude?

You guys remember WWF In Your House?
Some of the funniest endings you'll ever see in a wrestling game. Vader's is my personal favourite, what's yours? Leave a comment and like below! Subscribe for more Wrestling Game Goodness!
Best moment in wrestling, and possibly human, history
Simply Drunk Debut....
My friend's Halloween costume this past year.
Best wrestling video game. I loved that Smackdown all the time. Such a shame it gets forgotten these days because it was the first wrestling game with simple controls and a nice fast pace.
For my fellow #NWO lovers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwVEEX2h740 …
wCw was fun, but it couldn't hold a candle to WWF. but there was nothing better than watching both as a kid (either flipping back during commercials) or getting all baller and hooking up two tv's side by side.
the best thing about wCw was the three-tiered cage matches. no doubt.
Bobby Heenan totally ruined it when he screamed "WHOSE SIDE IS HE ON!?!?!?!?"
Is that the cage that held the monstrosity of a David Arquette title run.
You mean the one three-tiered cage match where David Arquette was the defending champion? I'll choose to forget that.
it happened more than once. the match i mean.
"The match pitted Sting, Booker T, Goldberg, and KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clark) against Russo's hand-picked team: WCW World Champion Kevin Nash, Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner, and The Harris Brothers (Don and Ron)."

I was reminiscing about WWF Raw is War on SNES today. Pretty good game at the time.
