Congrats, you're in the Olympics

If you had to instantly step into the Olympics what event would you look the worst in? How about the best? You can't prepare at all for it.
Worst: All around gymnastics. Large crowd and I can't even pretend to know what I'm doing out there. Floor exercise would be brutally embarrassing.
Best: Shooting or 200m (track). I can shoot a gun. Who's really going to know if I barely miss the target or miss it by a mile. 200 is over quickly and has enough scrubs that I'd only be on the track by myself for a second or two. Added benefit of not being quite as high profile as the 100m so better chance is go unnoticed.

Worst: Gymnastics all around for me too. I mean I'm 6'11.... What the hell am I supposed to do on a balance beam.
Best: Going to exclude basketball because that's no fun. I think I could do the best at 50m freestyle. I'm a decent swimmer and the shorter the race the less I lose by. Obviously I'm going to get dusted but I'm struggling to think of an event I would look better in.

I think I would do pretty well at archery. Obviously gymastics is going to be a popular "worst" especially among taller posters

Worst: Anything that involves running, jumping, athleticism or talent.
Best: I might be able to beat that Saudi chick in judo. If they only pay attention to synchronicity I might be able to do something in synchronized diving if I had a really, really awesome partner.

Best - Track and Field - 200 meters
Worst - Diving (There's Kool Diving in the pool. And we're still waiting for him to come to the surface. 5 minutes later can someone please get a paramedic here pronto).

Least embarrassing effort would be in something like table tennis. Most embarrassing would be in gymnastics (or swimming, since I can barely swim and there's a semi-decent chance I drown publicly).

Worst- gymnastics
best- wrestling tons of competitors get pinned quickly so whats the difference between them or I getting beat down in under a minute. I also think I'm strong enough where I could hold out for a minute or so.

LOL some dude from Mauritania has a best time of 23.16. Add five seconds to that and you have 28.16. I guarantee I could run that.

I'm not sure how the (worst) answer isn't gymnastics for pretty much anyone, unless you had some gymnastics training as a kid. Consider the 6 events for men:
Floor - I can do a cartwheel. I suppose I could do a handstand and then walk on my hands for a few seconds until I topple over.
Rings - lol
High bar - I can hang there, swing back and forth, and hang upside down by my knees.
Vault - LOL.
Pommel Horse - With luck, I could spend 60 seconds doing something and not rack myself on one of the handles.
Parallel Bars - I'm not even sure what I could physically do other than just sit there.

I think I could do ok (relatively speaking) on target shooting and the shorter distance events on running and swimming. Obviously I'd get dusted terribly, but I'd look like a slow moron rather than doing something far more embarrassing in another event.
I'm a decent volleyball player too (no terpsontop) so maybe I'd choose that.

I've somehow only played Volleyball like twice. I wasn't bad but i think it's going to look worse because I imagine I would get spiked on 25 times in a match and some of those in very embarrassing fashion.

Soccer would be easiest. Just stand around in the middle of the field and stay out of the way. There's a crapload of guys on a soccer field, no chance all of them actually touch the ball every game.

Worst - anything that involves being upside I hate it... swimming... gymnastics, etc.
Best - still pretty fast at 45... 100's and 200's on the track... shooting......
