it really depends, I've gotten a cab there once for 11 dollars (from the square to cross street), but lately i've averaged something like 16-20. Its not even the same between same cab companies.

Good call on the running routes too. I live in Fells now but used to live less than a mile east in Canton. The harbor promenade is awesome. And I also routinely run in and around Patterson Park during daylight without any problems.

The arrival of the Chipotle makes Canton the clear winner :)

And the guy who thought Fed. Hill was less expensive must have lived in Bmore many, many moons ago. That or is comparing the fringe Fed. Hill prices to stuff right on Canton Square.

1.) Start where you want to live.
2.) Drive north until you don't see any white faces.
3.) Knock on door and ask how much.
4.) If Chil answers and sticks his glock in your face, try next door.

What is "this place?" Baltimore? Canton square?

Canton is not dangerous. Like someone mentioned earlier, the biggest thing you would have to worry about is having your vehicle broken into. Don't leaving anything in plain view.

That area is perfectly fine, but statistically the crime is probably still higher than anywhere in College Park. But that's just Baltimore...just south of Patterson Park would be a great spot for someone your age.

Well, its both. And most of it is fairly specific to my situation since I've been searching on and off for a year, had people say they were ready to move then back out, etc. Its just exhausting and experiencing it right after a BRUTAL job search piled on top is draining. Basically everyone my age is going through it, we all were born at the wrong time.

I actually enjoy looking at stuff like that on craigslist, and often volunteer to help my friends find places. I definitely feel you on a lot of the bullshit involved with moving though. I moved 3 times in a few months right before leaving Baltimore, and it was like being stuck in a prolonged nightmare.

I'd probably stick a gun in my mouth if I had to move on short notice right now. I just keep buying too many stupid toys to throw in my garage, digging the hole deeper and deeper.

lol, they were all playing soccer on the field. They all wear different shirts and jeans. Never know how they know what team they're on.

Watch out for the roving gangs of youths playing kickball. Patterson Park is hard yo.
