but, while awesome, Little Black Submarines would probably be in the bottom half of the album for me

Anyone get presale tix this morning? I got in immediately and was offered 400 level so I passed. No thanks.
This might be a tougher ticket than I originally thought. Well, tough to get a good seat anyway

Ive gotta think they are holding back a ton of tickets on the pre-sale to create demand. There is no way so many tickets sold via the presale. Id imagine that there will be a ton available for the public sale.

Completely agree. Was a little surprised that I only saw nosebleeds. Would have to think there will be a lot available tomorrow.
Initially I thought they would come up way short of selling out the place. Now I'm not so sure. And, like you said, maybe that's the idea.

I was hoping to get floor tix, but they were gone right at 10. I ended up with some in 104. I'm going to try again tomorrow for floor. So I might have some extras I'm looking to unload.

While I'm super pissed I missed them on the Brothers tour, I'm glad I got to see them three times in smaller venues. Seeing them in an arena would be really annoying.

I like some of their stuff, I really do. I got Brothers which was really my first exposure to them. There are a few songs that I'm absolutely in love with on that album (Everlasting Light especially) I put them on Pandora and got exposed to some of their older stuff which I like a lot better.
But there's a few songs that are just too hipster for me on Brothers AND this album.

I was actually trying to figure out how to reply to ravensterp, but I'm not even sure what "hipster music" is. When I think hipsters I think NYC indie, which the Black Keys sound nothing like. If anything Brothers was heavily influenced by the Blakroc album, which was a hip-hop album. El Camino is the next step in their evolution, which if you've been listening since the beginning, has been going on for almost 10 years.

There are a ton of prime seats on Stubhub. The promoter may be selling them there for an inflated price.

Didn't go, but based on the 3 shows I've seen of them (granted not in an arena), I'm sure it was kick ass.
