Yup, and they actually both led significant forces against each other in various battles at Roxborough and Berwick Castles. I told her that our marriage is basically the end of a 700 year old blood feud.

My wife and I have a similar story. We were on opposite sides of the Battle of Severn. My great.....great grandfather was the governor of Maryland and her great .... great grandfather was a influential member of a group loyal to England (basically terrorists). In the end, Stone surrendered to save his troops and was sentenced to death (luckily he wasn't killed).

I keep my eye on her family during holidays.

Biz shopped in laurel with a buddy of mine. I worked in Bowie. And rarely worked up front.

Greenbelt PD sucks and had a serious bug up their ass in the 90s about teenagers causing mayhem. Apparently egging cars (driven by other teenagers) was more important than real crime.

I actually didnt get deported myself. I was driving across the border from Seattle towards Vancouver and my buddy and I got pulled aside for secondary screening. He was denied entry into the country because of a DWI almost 10 years prior.

I dropped him off at a bus station about 10 miles South of the border and was allowed to cross when I came back by myself.

I took the 400 level history of Maryland class as part of my "minor" (we don't really have them, but I took like 8 400 level history classes), and I remember that battle. My grandmother's family are Stones from St. Mary's City and I hit a dead end with a guy born in 1823. Figured he came from the more famous Stone family, who were the former colonial governors and revolutionaries, but he was just a laborer on someone else's farm in the 1850 census, so he was probably a nobody or a lesser son who got in some trouble. I can't find a damn thing on him other than that and it drives me insane.

I guessing it was 3 for you MoCo. I think 1 and 2 are plausible, and if were the SAT's I'd be flipping a coin between 3 and 4 so I'm guessing 3.

We don't have minors? Since when. I was very nearly a history minor but ended up finishing it and double majoring.
