I thought the Voice was terrible but x factor was solid. Idol doesn't survive with Simon doing a different show.

I thought Idol's rating were better than X-Factor.
I think X-Factor found a couple of "stars."

i don't think people realize that idol can lose something like 75% of its revenue and still be hit for FOX.

One thing I hated about the X factor was the competition between judges.
Even if a performance was good certain judges would find ways to disparage it and if it was a terrible performance their judge would always say how great it was. I guess it's no different on american idol if they have favorites but still.
The most underrated singing show is The Sing Off. Doing all those sounds and instruments acapella is talent right there.
