Amazon.com

  • I ordered dog clippers from them on Friday. Usually they ship my stuff the same day as the order. I look today because I never got an email. I find out I've ordered from some third party vendor, Homeclick I believe. When did this start? I new you could by used stuff but now amazon just lets anyone on their main list? Is it just me, or is this wrong?

  • I'm pretty sure they've allowed 3rd party vendors to sell through amazon for years, now. It pretty clearly tells you when you buy the item whether the item is being supplied by Amazon or a 3rd party.

  • They have been doing this as long as I can remember. They sell and distribute their own stuff, allow other merchants to sell and ship and in certain instances serve as distribution for a merchant.

One thing I have noticed recently is with prime my stuff is taking longer to fill and ship. I am supposed to get 2 day free shipping (this and the free streaming are worth it to me or as much as I buy on there plus I can ship things to my mother to help her out) and lately the order doesn't ship for two days.

  • I've never had problems with anything listed as Prime shipping and arriving in two days. It's actually pretty amazing.
