Granted I was a CCJS and GVPT major, but everything Manatee is saying is dead on. College is not hard.

(I supervised at Adele's and volunteered to be in charge of the schedule. I made sure to schedule myself off for every MD game. It was phenomenal.)

The 2 hours before the game were supposed to be for drinking the pint of bourbon you sneak in.

just to clarify, i go to the games ive only missed 2 in 2 years. Im just saying you are not going to learn organic chemistry or general chemistry or cell biology in 1 night. it just isn't go to work.

My roommate is a Mech. Engineering major, and he spends approx. 7 hours a day doing school work. If you combine that with not even liking basketball, you can see why someone like him would never go to a game. This is the case with basically any science major at UMD.

Despite how earnest you are in your postings, they are wrong. If you can't plan to study otherwise, you have FAILED MISERABLY at time management which is actually far more important than learning orgo (incidentally, not hard at all).

i know. i agree about the time management. and the orgo i somewhat agree on. its not as hard as it seems to be but for some reason I never got it to too really click in my mind (and I had the worst professor for orgo 1 so my foundation was shitty. Dr. Ammon if anyone knows who that is)

edit: if all it took to go to med school was studying one night before an exam then we would have a lot more doctors. and a lot more dead patients.

Oh please I took a million engineering classes in college and almost all of the tests were open book or we could use a cheatsheet. The tests were always just like 4 long homework problems.

Students that dont go to games are losers and will be sucking man tits the rest of their life. Have fun drinking wine and playing piano punks.

It's really commendable what you're doing, being an adult and all.

Its not even an issue of being busy, this is one of the more fairweather student fan bases we have had. I can't wait until next year when the team is good and it is packed every night, and suddenly all these students who were "busy" suddenly have time to spare.
