We're on the cover of Express this morning. But none of the fucking boxes around my building had a single fucking copy, what the fucking fuck?!?!!!? I'm madder than Mad Mike Jones right now.

i do think they should have saved the all black for the first night game. since all red is homecoming, they should have busted out the black on gold/gold.

I'd be shocked if we didn't see some/all gold against Temple.

I'm starting to worry that our buzz may start to fizzle when people start to realize that the rest of the uniforms are just different color combinations of the same design.

If we beat WVU we really just need to start a "wait until you see what we wear for the Notre Dame game" campaign.
And then figure the rest out later.

Worried about this too. Can they do combos of MD PRIDE with other uniforms? That might help.

This is why we need to win this weekend. The uniforms brought us tons of attention that we would have otherwise never received. People now will be looking at our uniforms just to see what we are wearing. They do not care how good we are...yet. When we beat WVU, people will start taking us seriously and the headlines will not be about our uniforms, but rather how a historically mediocre team is turning things around under a first year coach.

There will be somewhat of a buzz for the gold uniforms when we wear them the first time, and also for the first time wearing the shellmet (I know we wore it during warm-ups against Miami).
By that point, the "what are they wearing" buzz will die down until the FSU or ND game, so the team will have to start earning it's own buzz by continuing to win.
One thing MD has guaranteed itself is that EVERY time a team debuts a new uniform for the rest of the season, it will be compared to our unis, and that is a very good thing.
