I've always thought the grass at Shipley was in pretty decent shape given the weather around here. Turf would definitely be easier to maintain in the early season though.

Drains terribly. I saw a game this year where it had rained the day before and there were still puddles in the outfield.

No field lowering - not in the budget, plus it would take too long. If everything gets approved they want to start installation next month.
I dont know the exact color, but heard it will be different from any existing field (Eastern Washington already has red, btw)
