  • I am a WVU fan. I have nothing, but respect for Maryland. I am just wondering about your(the fans ) thoughts about the recent transfers on the football team. I personally loved Fridge and Gary as coaches and thought you guys took a step down with both replacements. Wish you guys the best of luck when we play you this year as I personally cheer for Maryland when they play.(except WVU) and think the NCAA tournment is less exciting without you guys in it.(Still remember Stevie Blakes half court winner) Good luck once again.

    It would be kind of like if we went over there a few years ago and asked what the WVU fans thought about RichRod leaving for Michigan.

    I definitely thought Rich Rodriguez was your best coach. Michigan really took a step down when they hired him.

  • Holgo is way better then Rich Rod. BCS win in his first season now all we got to do is hold on to him. Your DC hire of Stewart was a good one. His NFL background should get some good recruits. Wish we had Marylands Under Armour money that would help us.

    That Steve Blake half court winner is one of my all time favorite Maryland tournament memories.

    An all-time great MD moment. It helped us win those back-to-back national championships.

    How much did Milan Puskar spend on WVU athletics before he died? Then he left you something like $500 million? UMD doesn't smell that kind of money from UA or anyone else.

  • I'm fascinated by this. Did he misremember Steve Blake as Drew Nicholas and the running three as a half court shot? Is he mis-remembering shots that occurred in the NBA as college? Is he ACTUALLY thinking about the little known, overturned gem against Tom Coverdale's pasty white ass in a random November game eight plus years ago?
