I watched the signing ceremony for one of our newest Terps, Caleb Rowe. Blue Ridge High School moved the NSD ceremony for their athletes to Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC, so Caleb's father could be there to see his son officially sign with the Terps.
Caleb's father has been diagnosed with Leukemia (not sure if this was known here already) and could not leave the hospital. It was a classy move on the part of the school and the other athletes to move the ceremony to the hospital . It was also a very touching scene to watch on TV. Caleb's entire family, including his father, was decked out in Terps gear.
As a fan base, I hope we will all take a moment to remember Caleb's father, and the entire family in our thoughts and prayers. They are all part of the family here now.
Here's to a speedy recovery Mr. Rowe!! Good thoughts and prayers from the entire Terps family!!
