There have to be some fb players that can ball. I played pick up against gist Ledbetter and 3 fb players like 4 years ago and Ledbetter was by far their worst player (I know that's not sayin much...but still).

I'd think so. He was quoted a while back saying he liked multi-sport athletes. Think he was talking mainly track, but the principal is the same.

He was homeless man's Kyle Singler. I'd prefer to have him back but honestly never understood why everyone was sniffin' his junk.

I don't disagree with you nor do I mean to disrespect the Hawk. He might've developed into a solid shooting, high effort 6th or 7th guy on a decent team. The fact that he would've started this year as a soph says all you need to know about what we're in store for. -- Here's to hoping the pipeline to real local talent starts to flow.

The Best Player on the team leaves early for the NBA and he got roasted for doing so. The Hawk leaves early to play in Europe and not one bad word about the kid.

The kid had good basketball instincts, and knew how to feed the post better than anyone on the team, even better than Stoglin. He would have been a asset on the team in his 3rd and 4th year when hopefully we will have some talented big men. :pray

I would expect he would, otherwise all this talk of "its about being MARYLAND", and being proud of the University is a bunch of crap. The basketball team needs some bodies for a year. Probably the best candidates(althought I don't know this for sure) would be from the football team. Why not help out the team that is in need for a year??

I read some place a while back, that Edsall favors two sport athletes...he was talking mainly track but same concept. Just so it's in January for any football players, and not December!

Mark Turgeon needs bodies and he said Thursday that he isn't ruling out turning to the football team for frontcourt help.
