who knew Gary recruited one and done's?

Amazingly enough he was only supposed to be here for 2 years. I cant believe the offers he might be getting based on one good summer against lousy competition.

Is he also now changing his name to Choi?

8 scholly players?? sheesh

I'd rather have the extra scholarship than him for the next 3 years, guaranteed that Turgeon gets a better player than him with the extra scholly.

I think it's rather unfortunate as I thought he had a lot of potential -- really good size and instincts and would have been a very good junior or senior. I think we learned the hard way that foreigners aren't a good get -- they're apt to go pro very early.

re: walk-ons I don't see Levent on the roster anymore. I think he had two years of eligibility left and think he's still in school so odd he's not on the roster anymore unless Turgeon thinks he has to re try out of the team. I seem to recall we added a 6-7 kid to the roster in the spring.

I think there's going to be like 6 scholarships available for 2012

use 4 of them on Jefferson, Mcgary or Robert Carter, Seth Allen and Cleare

2 on Aaron and Andrew Harrison or Britt and and another big in 2013

He's only played 2 years, so I think he would technically have 2 years of eligibility left (although they did list him as a sophmore and junior the past two years). It's not like he would have any impact on results though. If he's in the game, thinks are already out of hand one way or the other.

The walk-ons are :

John Auslander 6-7 215 transfer from D3 Greensboro College

Spencer Barks 6-8 240 St. Albans (Duane Simpkins coach) reportedly (?) had some low D1 offers

12 ppg in a weak conference
