Screw the university of Virginia

  • And their smug ass fans and their nit banners (pictured) and their douchebaggery and shitty ass basketball program. It's a true embarrassment whenever we lose to those asshiles. You can say blame the players or blame turgeon, and you're not wrong, but seriously them. They're worse than duke... At least duke is good! We constantly get daggered by these turds

  • I´ve tried not to think about it last night but we had the chance to provide them with yet another NIT Appearance banner. We would have succeeded had it not been for

    1) botched play @ the end of the half, allowing them to score a 3 at the buzzer.
    2 )stupid T on Peshon, thank you again Jamie Lucky!
    3) Len tips it in--to their basket!

    I'm trying to take it in stride but this was a hard one to take.

    I agree that the original post in this thread might be a bit offensive to you and I do not second that emotion, but you've gotta admit we've got a point about the NIT banners, dude.

    The NIT banners are bad. Outside of a 15 year stretch, there hasn't been much for us to cheer about.

    Then again, the Terps might need to start hanging NIT banners so you all have something to do for the foreseeable future.

    We'll stick to depositing our giant bags of B1G cash in the bank and negotiating down that exit fee to further maximize profit. Although something tells me we'll see you guys in the Legends or Leaders divisions before not too long. And something also tells me that you guys wouldn't be all that upset about it.

  • If I could keep one ACC rivalry once we bug out it would be Virginia. I'm still glad we are getting the eff out of the ACC when I read stuff like Barry Jacobs latest article. Maybe the ACC won't miss Maryland but I won't miss them either.

    When the program that was only behind Duke and UNC for much of the last 20 years has sunk to this pedestrian level then people are going to be bitter and pissed off. Don't take it personal.

    agreed I definitely want to keep UVA as a rival... It's essentially our only rivalry now that we haven't been competitive with duke for a while
