For anyone in the Central Texas area or coming into Austin for the weekend series from the 18-20th, the Dallas and Austin Chapters of the Alumni Association have coordinated a tailgate before the second game of the Saturday doubleheader.
We'll be in the parking lot behind centerfield of Disch Falk Field starting at 1PM on the 19th and expect at least 20-30 of the local alums to be in attendance.
If you want to attend the game and/or the tailgate, we've secured a fixed amount of discounted tickets for $6 apiece, or you can buy them through UT's ticket office or at the stadium on gameday for $12. http://alumni.umd.edu/utmdbaseball
Also, Ruby's BBQ will be catering the event, so be sure to stop by for some authentic Texas BBQ, courtesy of your Texas Terps.
PM me if you want more details.
Update: First round of 15 tickets sold out in 3 hrs. Buying another 10 or 15 at the discounted price.

I'll probably be there...
The Texas fans with the bus that sit right outside the outfield fence were awesome when we met them in Omaha. They tailgate big time and gave us pretty much anything we wanted.
Looking forward to this next weekend, looks like the weather will ahve turned and we should be in the 70s. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys making the trip to Austin.
It would sweet to steal a game too.
Bump, all 30 discounted tickets are sold out and we had to up the catering order for bbq. The event is now coordinating with players' parents and Bakich is coming to the visitors section after the game to shake hands/chat about the program. Turning into a much bigger event than we had hoped!
Bumping this thread for the tailgate tomorrow, we'll be setting up in lot 103, right behind the centerfield wall. Kepp on the lookout for the Maryland flag for our location. Hope the Texas Terps can make it out tomorrow.
