He is good though. Hell if he can dribble and run simultaneously, not make dumb decisions routinely, not play matador defense, then he is already bettern than Allen.

If he comes in and literally doesnt do anything, ie falling into a coma, he's already better than Peshon Howard.

Turge better get a JUCO PG for next season to backup Peters. I don't want to see Faust or Allen with the ball for more than 5 seconds straight on a possession next season because that spells disaster.

I followed the recruiting link at the top of this page and they had him as a 5 star. So I guess I need to find a better source for Maryland recruiting than 24/7?

24/7 recently upgraded Roddy to 5 star. Seems Jerry Meyer loves his game and has been high on him ever since this past summer.

Didn't Roddy miss most of his senior season due to injury? I'm wondering if he'll be a bit rusty, just for that reason. I hope he does fabulously, but I'm not having huge expectations.
Re his ''star'' status, my recollection is that he was viewed generally as about Top 50, which is more typically 4*.
That said, he's a damn good player, a local kid who wants to be a Terp, and I'm looking forward to rooting for him for his entire Terp career.

Yeah 4 star, 5 star whatever. Point is he is a very good player and he wants to play for the Terps. As an added bonus he plays a position that is a huge need, assuming he can play the point. There is absolutely no reason to start threads like this, we should be damn happy to have him.
