I'll be there regardless, but I hope the Fast Breakers sponsor another bus trip to Charlottesville on the 30th. It's a 2:00 pm Saturday game. Just Sayin' ..........

Amen to this. Does he know anything about fb and bb ? btw I think we will do much better next yr in both fb and bb. Need people who are used to handling the ball. Who else loses 4 qb's and doesn't have a pg (the single most impt pos'ns in those sports) ?

The parents group puts on a pre and post tailgate at ALL games (home or away). We welcome any/all that come to our open tailgate. This has been a great start and it would be great to see more folks at the games.
Duke was awesome - it was close to 50% MD fans.
If anyone is interested i can send you the particulars for each tailgate - the parents have a process and set up teams to make sure the post tailgate is covered for the players.
We just need some better weather!

I have stated in other threads that on my Terps wish list - only a Fb or BB national championship would exceed a Lax NC.
This year starting to look like the year - May is gonna be stressful!!!

Was UMBC really that good last season? Seems like losing to them was an upset for the ages given the way we finished the season. At any rate this game will be in Byrd and is being televised by the "World Wide Leader". Game starts at 5:00. Damn shame it overlaps (given the time to get from one to the other) with the Basketball Game which starts at 7:00. Hopefully folks will come out in force for at least the 1st half before migrating over to Comcast.
FYI: umterps.com is reporting the basketball game is a Sellout!
Is this the 1st time we've had back-to-back coverage of 2 Sports on ESPN/ESPN2?

UMBC game has been postponed - not rescheduled yet.
and the 3/16 game with Villanova is now 7:00pm

yeah, i just remembered the game. And was going to be a TV game...too bad. Could have done the Lax-Bball doubleheader if the weather was nice...

today's game at home against Stony Brook at noon. Broadcast on espn3.
Stony Brook is no pushover, have won 3 straight and have one of the better scorers in the country in Jeff Tundo.

I'd like the Terps to win a Natty every year. 2013 is as good as any I guess.
But yeah, Stony Brook is definitely no joke. They're obviously not on our level, but not many teams are, and they won't go down without a fight.

We were up Im pretty sure 12-2 5 minutes into the third quarter. Stony Brook also scored two meaningless goals with ~30 seconds left. The game was definitely not as close as the final score indicates
