Alex turned his ankle in practice before the FSU game. Got injured obviously worse today. Not good.

Even if ''just a sprain,'' it can take a good bit of time to fully heal, bringing back some not-so-fond memories of years ago.

Missing one game for Mosley won't make him any better. He has aggravated torn ligaments. He has to play through the pain or be done with playing basketball. He chooses to play.

Giving him a week off can't hurt, either. He just seems like he's really struggling out there. He was never the quickest or most explosive guy, but when he was actually healthy, the difference was very noticeable. Maybe you're right, though. He just has to tough it out. It's a shame he didn't get an injury-free senior year.

I believe I've heard broadcasters quote Turgeon regarding Len's ability to hit the 3 like it was a layup, but he's yet to work that into the offense. If that's the case, it almost seems very Gary-esque to hold off on it for as long as he has.

Obviously, we need him. We need his length and fouls for tomorrow night. I'd hate for him to miss this game because every time our young kids can play in a big game --- and every game's a big game --- but an environment like tomorrow night helps us for the future."

My guess is he doesn't play. Turgeon said the pain was "severe" on Monday.
