Terps field hockey takes on UNC in a rematch of a rematch .. 3rd year in a row the teams have met in the championship game. Terps won last year, UNC in 09.

I don't know anything about field hockey but I know that's not good. Also, 6 of their 9 shots were on goal. Our one shot wasn't. Looks like UNC's defense is dominating.
UNC is the top ranked team but MD is 4th. It's hard to believe there's such a difference between teams ranked that highly.
The good news is we're only down one. Maybe we get lucky in the second half.

Holy shit, we were down 2 goals with about 5 minutes left and we just scored 2 goals and tied it on a corner with no time left on the clock! Overtime!

yeah we've scored 3 non goals yet UNC had a goal above the black board that wasn't disallowed like ours
I've never seen a game before so I'm baffled. the announcer didn't say why another goal wasnt

I still remember the day that we played field hockey during gym in middle school and I came home and excitedly told my mom that I wanted to play field hockey. And then she broke my heart.
