    This is absolutely true. I am good friends from school with a former Terrapin Club Director. He would tell me about walking into his office first thing in the morning with print outs of message board postings slid under his door and instructions on how to respond.

    I'll do you one better. I posted something about 7 or 8 years ago on the boards (I think it was ACC Boards back then) and I got a call later that afternoon from a TC employee wanting to know why I wrote what I wrote. So not only did they pay close attention to the boards, they knew who I was.

    Here's another one: last year myself and a well known poster were talking with a different TC official and this person called the well known poster out by his handle and "guessed" correctly as to my handle.

    I don't know if things are the same under KA. I'm sure they pay some attention to the boards but I can't imagine that they're as obsessed as DY.

    She was completely obsessed with the boards. Apparently she didn't have a computer in her office for years. But got one only when she learned of message boards and wanted to see what was being written.
