  • I try not to comment on topics like this anymore because I usually get shouted down. So many board members rag on classless behavior at other schools, but then defend or excuse the very same behavior when it occurs at Maryland...

    edit: Maryland fans also have a reputation of being clever. Lots of people I run into around the country say they turn on Duke at Maryland basketball games just to see what the Terp fans will come up with (as opposed to the lame, scripted Duke fans). That's pretty cool.

    Talk about missing the point completely.....

    The reason it gets brought up is that we get treated like we burn babies at tailgates whereas other schools its just "what kids do" when really, they do the exact same thing. The villianization of our students after F U JJ keeps this perception up that our students are terrible human beings.

    I'd say a good place to start would be to stop playing Cee Lo's "Fuck You" during breaks in the action.
