Even if they win a NC, no Program has squandered vast amounts of talent the way they have. The only good thing about Clemson winning something is that 'chil 6.0 will return and gloat. Wait a minute. Did I say that would be a good thing?

this has classic Hogie jinx written all over it
reminds me of Hogie's thread late in the 2007 season about how Dennis Dixon was going to win the Heisman and Oregon will play for the NC-- then that very night Dixon tears his ACL and they lose to Arizona and end the season in a tailspin

Besides, that's going back four years for one example. Usually, star players don't have season ending injuries, and the more talented teams win most games (duh).

I'm thinking we'll see a GT vs. Clemson ACCCG in Charlotte this year. It'll be a battle of offenses, as neither defense is that good (VT's offense is dogshit this year, so don't read into Saturday's defensive performance too much).
