Greetings Terps

  • Looking forward to joining the B1G. It will be interesting learning about the traditions and rivalries within the rivalries of each school.

Not looking forward to playing in the ACC next year - it's going to get ugly. Hopefully the transition is positive for all involved.

  • Looking forward to it. It will probably be great for us in the long run. I have watched ACC basketball for a long time and the tradition will be missed but playing the likes of you guys, Mich. schools, Indiana to name a few should develop some good rivalries. We were always considered the black sheep of the ACC with all the NC schools so won't miss that.

Oh yeah, shell shocked was a reference to Terrapin shell.

Unless 2-3 more ACC schools announce a move to the Big Ten (in the Spring/Summer), a positive transition will probably be impossible. Just look at the ACC withholding revenue to the Terps right now, and we're still more than a year away.

I don't feel good about the courts being in North Carolina too with the lawsuit and am thinking there's going to be some "home cookin". But at least Maryland counter-sued and maybe the parties can settle at about $20-$30 million (hopefully less).

I think you will like the fact that every school is treated equally in the B1G.

    Very much so

  • No, I will not like it if Penn State is treated equally.

  • Thrilled and excited about moving to the B1G. I'm an older guy who grew up on the great years of the ACC and the classic games, but I'm over this biased, good ol' boy, Bojangles conference. The move will be so good for us, on so many levels, not just athletics.

Can't wait to go to a game at the Horseshoe!
