Why do we suck so much?

As a matter of course, I check UMD's employment section a few times a year in case there's some kind of job available in Terrapin Sports Marketing, the AD's media office, or whatever. I work in communications/PR, and that's the one position I really want--the only one I can think of that I would take immediately even though it would mean leaving behind years of experience in a different sector. There is a 0% chance that I'd do a worse job than the people they have now.

In all seriousness, do positions often open up for that stuff? Anyone know?

Rhodes is certainly deserving, but not before Adrian Branch. For years every time they add a banner for a player it bothers me that Branch has not been recognized before that player. Not that any particular player didn't deserve it(except maybe Steve Francis), just that they got it before Branch.

If I had to rank them, Branch would be my #1. Rhodes closely follows with guys like Brad Davis and Greg Manning close behind him. Branch definitely should have gone up before Ernie Graham.

Sounds like I'll have to make the noise of 10 fans. Johnny is the man, he definitely deserves to be up in the rafters. Branch should be next since we'll probably be in lull until Stoglin gets his up there.

Agreed. He was my favorite player while I was in school (94-98). I loved him because he never had a bad game. Loves me some Johhny Rhodes.
