RE will not be fired if Leach does not accept the HC job. If RE is fired the behind the scene process would have already taken place.
I am sure people asking where the money will come from. The buyout would not be for the full amount as that would not allow RE to coach anywhere for X number of years. Look for a $4 million buyout with money coming from a "gift" aka Plank.
