I am going to let my hate grow naturally for the teams. i probably wont hate anyone...the only teams i hate in the ACC are UVA and NCState.
I can see that reading it in a different light. Are you the one OSU guy who communicates reasonably with the rest of the world?
It's tough to do, I've been told I can be unreasonable at times. But, those people are just unreasonable...
I have my moments of lucidity, but we all can be irrational and unreasonable when the right moment strikes.
However, I was always a fan of Coach Gary Williams. I had the pleasure of meeting him several times when he was at Ohio State. There was an NCAA tourny game and I saw him right after. The dude was so sweaty...he just had to be working hard. His suit coat was soaked,,,dripping! When he shook my hand it was like a wet noodle. It wasn't because he has a bad shake...the man was just SPENT.
I love that about him. He worked so freaking hard.

We have long experience (we older fans, anyway) with the complete and total assholery of UPS and its fanbase.
It's all the other assholes we have to learn about now.
As an Indiana fan, I have to warn you about Purdue. They have one of the worst fanbase inferiority complexes I have ever seen. Indiana is the more successful, well-liked state school, and Purdue fans lash out in anger and frustration over their inability to win. Luckily it is hard to hate them because they're really just not worth the effort. Kind of annoying though.

Do any of your fan bases wear ties and khakis to game day? please advise.
Just wondering, most of you dislike MSU because of that buzzer beater right?

Balls to the wall
I think Indiana makes some sense as an unofficial rival. Probably the conference's only legit "basketball school", plus we have recent history with them. Not to mention, a lot of their students are from the northeast.
Oh and 3. Rutgers
Nebraska fans wear corn
Wisconsin fans wear cheese
Penn state fans wear shower caps (too soon???)
MSU is the Maryland of the B1G...I'm not going to hate them without a legit rivalry.
I bet "What the hell is a buckeye anyways?" is the most common thing said to Ohio State fans.
What the hell is a buckeye anyways?
I just can't hate a team coached by Izzo and will never be able to hate another team as much as I hate Duke so I guess I'll have to let a new hate grow over time....but probably will never reach Duke level.
9/21/2010...RIP Old IMS.
I think its a nut. or a plant.
What the hell is a terrapin anyways? A turtle, right?
Holy what ever happened to that Ohio State guy, during the Diggs signing, Italianbuck?
I hate fanbases that complain about biased refs.
So basically they are NCST? Awesome!

IU folks are rubes that don't have the math and engineering talent to get into Purdue.
Is fat tom collichio with the busted stripper wife going to post here?
Bringin it back!
My best friend's father is a math professor at Purdue so you will find no bigger fan of the Purdue math department than me. But yeah your resounding silence on athletics pretty much sums that up.
Maybe you can clear something up for me. I'm always confused about whether Purdue has a business school. I've heard rumors but everyone talks about wanting to go to Kelley so I've never been sure.
