You don't think he'll get a pass for his first year in a new conference?
no. hes definitely done after next year. he'll get a pass this year only because we're the most injury riddled team in college football. otherwise he'd be done at the end of this month
No one likes him, we just couldn't afford to fire him.
New conference, new coach. A legit coach, not one with a losing career record.
I think Wendel is right. He'll still be here, and it won't matter what happens during the first brutal Big Ten season...
I'm starting to realize that we will fit in better in our new league. What a relief.
Bailey, I'm 24. Yes, I am apart of 5'8 nation, but don't be a height hater.

Don't get too fond of your baseball coach, Bakich will bolt before we ever play Michigan.
There is no way that is you in that picture. If so that has to be about 10 years old and DB was just on campus.
can we hate you for wearing yellow wrist bands to spectate a sporting event?
This has been one of the most entertaining threads so far. I think we just need to start a thread where all current Big10 fans can come and trash each other. We get to vote on who is best.
FWIW, I've hated OSU for a long time, so we already have that in common.
Seriously though, our stadium is one of the worst you'll ever see. It will take some time to make up for some of the horrible eff ups our past AD made, but hopefully we'll get there. Comcast, OTOH, is great.
We ( well most of us, I think) are thrilled to be joining your ranks and we can't wait to start mixing it up with you guys.
Thanks for chiming in.
"Academics is important, because without them....you aren't allowed to play!"
uggh, 247 daggers me when i try and look at a big version of lollipop girls.
Best feature of Spartan Stadium are the ramps that lead to the upper decks. They are on about a 60 degree angle. No guilt about eating that extra brat at the tailgate, you will get your cardio in just getting to your seat.
Extra bonus, during late season games the ramps are coated with a slick layer of frost!
Yes, it will take a while to get a feel for the varying fanbases, as opposed to their representations about themselves and others.
True hatred has to develop firsthand, and requires some time to be cultivated to a high level.
East Lansing has better looking girls.
Ann Arbor is better overall in every which way possible.
Detroit Hustles Harder
Lets turn this into a hottest girls pic thread
Are you saying that girls aren't in any which way possibly appealing to you?
This is why Eastern Michigan exists. For Michigan men.
Please excuse the arrogance and idiocy of my fellow Big Ten-ers. Not all MSU fans act like they have an unnatural obsession with the school down the road and vice versa.
I was very excited to have the Terps join our conference. One of my longtime friends went to Maryland, so I've gained a lot of respect watching you guys play in basketball and football. You'll bring some great new competition to the basketball conference. I think you'll love the Big Ten Network's "Journey" show - I personally cannot wait to watch the first segments about Maryland in a couple of years.
I look forward to seeing you guys on the road or even at your home games when my team visits. Best of luck this basketball season.... I don't want to run into you guys in the Tourney - you've got a hell of a team!
Tough love is in effect here|We won't accept you as you are|Instead, we will show you a vision of what you could be and help you achieve it
East Lansing - Better bars, better girls, nicer campus
Ann Arbor - Better tailgates, better city
Nope it definitely is me. That was taken when DB stopped by my tailgate after the 2011 game against purdue.
we left the acc just to get away from ncstate fans. they got to be the worse. I know this has been a small sampling, but if all big10 posters are like ones on here, this will be fun!
What are Purdue fans like?
I picture them as the midwestern version of NC State hick fans, only maybe with a bit of a tech/geek twist. But that's sort of a wild, uninformed impression.
I'm not sure about their fans, but it seems as though every single fucking player is too old to be on the team because they have gotten 2-3 medical redshirts.
See: Robbie Hummel - Great, great basketball player... one of the best ever to be in the B1G, but there is a trend he seemed to have begun at Purdue.
