will join the ACC July 1, 2013.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. The Big East has reached an agreement with Syracuse University, allowing the Orange to leave the league a year early for the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The Carrier Dome is only 2 hours north of my home here in upstate NY. I am looking forward already to our first Terp victory there. Welcome to the ACC Orange.
I know a lot of fans have said they're not comfortable with syracuse joining the acc but they have a great basketball program and the football program can be rebuilt.
at this point all we can say is "welcome to the acc"
I hope to see you there. It gives me a reason to visit my brother in Marcellus.
I used to live near Ogdensburg so Syracuse was 2 hours SOUTH for me!
I would travel down to the Carrier Dome to see a young quarterback named Donovan play for a coach named Paul...good times.

Pitt has reached an agreement as well (same as the Cuse one), they are officially in 2013 as well

That's even better. Pitt is about an hour ride for me.
Found the link myself
Pittsburgh will pay the Big East $7.5 million to leave the conference after the upcoming school year and join the Atlantic Coast Conference on July 1, 2013.

So, Pitt and Syracuse get out in a year and only 7.5 million, versus WVU now and 20 million. Dumbass hillbillies.
Actually it really has to do with timing. When WVU sued the Big East, they didn't have anyone lined up to replace them. As for Pitt and Syracuse, they have 6 schools lined up to replace them already.
Yeah, but they're still dumbass hillbillies.
TJ: Plan on it!
It's a long way off, Joe, and at our age we don't buy green bananas, but the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, you can bet I'll see you there. hehehe!!!
<---- yellow banana!
