Im speculating here, but my guess is that Pankey will eventually be the one "out".
Watch how much evil we call the crime picks up...There is nothing else to do Sal!- Ray Lewis
That was my initial thought as well, but he starts more games and plays more minutes here than he will anywhere else with the attitude he has.
Maryland has only four scholarships available for 2012?
my count is 6 available for 2012, which would leave 1 for 2013. I am not counting Auslander who may be on scholarship.
4 used for 2012
3 now left for 2013 assuming no one transfers

Hmmmm...I thought we'd have more schollies for 2013
what the fuck Turgeon...Harrisons or bust
Good. Things. Do. Not. Happen. For. D.C./MD. Sports.
I'd take H-Twins and Stanford Robinson (or Kameron Williams). Just load up on some big guys to have for those dudes.
if we get mitchell, i'm fine with just the harrisons in 2013. that will be enough bigs that we can wait til 2014 to recruit more.

"But despite his low profile, several mid- and low-majors had discovered him and made offers, including Coppin State, Delaware, Delaware State, Morgan State, Niagara, Radford and Rider."
WE'RE FINALLY WINNING RECRUITING BATTLES!
But if Turge watched him for two hours and was impressed, then that's ok with me...
I went to QACHS....I'm not really sure if we've had a D1 prospect in anything except lacrosse and maybe soccer, so this is nice to see.
We've got no book on Turgeon's "diamonds in the rough" yet, so let's relax for now. And remember, it's not like there are a lot of teams with 11-man rotations. If he got a scholarship, I'm willing to believe that Turge feels he can get what else we need with the ships that are still available. And it's not like this kid's reputation will run anyone else off.
Though, to be clear, Jordan played against nobody in high school but impressed a lot of coaches against a very high level of AAU competition. He had far more of a track record than this kid.
I got the impression from the article that the kid is a "Project".
Come on out and get your whoopin!
Apparently Georgetown, Seton Hall, Houston and a few other schools went to see him play and were after him as well.
he could go to prep school or redshirt. he has potential.
• “I told him that it was my dream come true and I’m happy to be a part of the Terps,” Dodd said.
• “The kid can really run the floor, but he’s very raw,” the coach said. “He scores all his points on putbacks and alley-oops. They throw it off the glass and he grabs it and puts it back in. He’s not going to get the ball in the post and face up and score. He will shoot the three, which to me means he can shoot it.
“It makes sense, because bigs are hard to find. And he can really run. He was getting down the floor faster than the guards.”
Dodd is 2 of 12 from three-point range but shooting a startling 79 percent on two-point attempts this season.
• “I like to [compare] myself near Kevin Durant, I can pretty much do everything,” Dodd said. “When you’re on teams not as big, you’ve got to play where they need you so I’ve played a lot in the post. But I’ve always been able to driblble and always been able to shoot the ball.”
In order to get ready for college, Dodd said he needs to bulk up. His athletic ability also is on display during the spring track season, where he qualified for the state championship meet in the shot put and triple jump last spring.
that's pretty encouraging
im sorry i was confusing...your "Superbowl" was the Redskins losing since you know that the Ravens cant win it all.
I tried being reasonable once. I didn't like it.
it's a pretty athletic event, and apparently he's good at it.
Telep is suppose to have a write-up on him today, apparently was being followed by Gtown.
......Uh oh, someone probably should have told him that's not something we're ready to hear again yet.

Glad his confidence is up there.
Dodd has made 2 three pointers, he will need a few more to catch up with Durant
can Dodd make a free throw ?
Is he the next Steve Castellan ? Castellan averaged 38 ppg at St Anselms HS and 5 ppg at UVA
With NCAA graduation rate requirements gaining teeth, it is essential to have at least some players that stick around for 4 years and get their degree. I understand the logic behind this recruitment, and wish Dodd the best. Even if he doesn't become a starter, he still would contribute to the program as long as he graduates.

do walk-ons count in the graduation rate ?
